Sweet F.A. (Fashion and Art) is a rock and roll fashion show that takes place in Portland, Oregon at least twice a year. It is about combining the ever growing local fashion scene, the explosive local music scene, and the ever interesting local art scene.
It is the suffering in following a Saviour who is basically unknown even amongst His "so called" own. It is the suffering in a daily death to self and constant realignment with His Spirit when we wander. It is the loneliness in standing up for what I know is right when I know I am being ridiculed and back stabbed and basically get no visible reward for. It is the injustice in seeing people advance when they cheat and steal and dying to that, because otherwise it only adds to serve the ego. It is that constant pulling down of that ego when it tries to rear it's ugly head in order to fit into the world. It is the loneliness at the time of prayer and affirming that I will follow even when the world has got a different agenda. It is the suffering in watching other "Christians" follow a different God. It is the joy of rising with Him above all that traditionally matters so much to the senses and body that makes me so happy to be walking with Him. Oh you gals! I wish I could be there this weekend to see how everything turned out! I will be thinking of you guys all weekend! Break a leg tomorrow to all of the designers and models! I am sure it's going to be an amazing show!!
Come on out for cheap you know what.... Unfortunately i can not make reference to specific promotions that "The Agency" may be offering, but I am sure you smart kids can figure it out... Heres the deal, NO COVER, Several DJs in the line up, including myself... come kick it with your friends in a laid back ultra sports lounge with over 50 HD Plasmas, Music starts at 9pm and you can have fun all night without killing your pocket book...
