In the year of 1992 within the first
twenty four hours of owning a PC Proof Of Concept started to cut breaks and layer up loop
based tracks. Since then Proof Of Concept has spent every spare moment composing and
producing early dance music, then moving onto Drum & Bass where he polished
up his beat programming.
As time passed his music evolved in
to what you hear today. Although his music has changed a great deal, Proof Of Concept still
considers it a logical progression from his Drum & Bass days, and does
continue to produce the odd bit of D&B.
What you hear today is Proof Of Concept using
keyboards and other production tools in his home studio. Proof Of Concept no longer uses
loops (well maybe once in a blue moon). He's no sample snob, he just prefers to
create his own distinct sound.
2009 has Proof Of Concept
finally completing his first live set and will be taking it on the road across
England and mainland Europe delivering his UniqueProof Of
Concept.
Growing on the strength of his first
release, the long awaited second EP from Proof of Concept brings you a fresh
batch of what he does best, Nu Jazz style strings and breaks reminiscent of
artists such as The Cinematic Orchestra but with a unique identity that only
Proof of Concept can deliver.
This Friday's radio show EMANCIPATION will play your 'How to Feel Nothing part 3' between 6 and 8pm GMT on www.onlineworldradio.com. Hope you can tune in!
love that "how to feel nothing" and i like it followed by "my angel ( prelude )"
together they are like a path leading to the complete freeing which is the beginning of "my angel " ( one, lasting, lingering and lonely voice ) a shade of silence, matter of escape. then when you feel it is over yet it starts like a new heart beat. niceeeee one :)
lost the sense of the single pieces, became one to me ( even thought they actlly are one )
i am afraid i must do sth with myself ;d
i like your music too much maybe i cannot be objective ;d
maybe i shall say - try to find sth more new
but how can i say that if you can make the new out of the kind of 'old' i mean, you use similar way of expression but you can create almost entirely different things
try to improve that, it's interesting and even more challenging than simple changes.
well... do i get a lil signature once upon a time, huh?
