In the year of 1992 within the first
twenty four hours of owning a PC Proof Of Concept started to cut breaks and layer up loop
based tracks. Since then Proof Of Concept has spent every spare moment composing and
producing early dance music, then moving onto Drum & Bass where he polished
up his beat programming.
As time passed his music evolved in
to what you hear today. Although his music has changed a great deal, Proof Of Concept still
considers it a logical progression from his Drum & Bass days, and does
continue to produce the odd bit of D&B.
What you hear today is Proof Of Concept using
keyboards and other production tools in his home studio. Proof Of Concept no longer uses
loops (well maybe once in a blue moon). He's no sample snob, he just prefers to
create his own distinct sound.
2009 has Proof Of Concept
finally completing his first live set and will be taking it on the road across
England and mainland Europe delivering his UniqueProof Of
Concept.
Growing on the strength of his first
release, the long awaited second EP from Proof of Concept brings you a fresh
batch of what he does best, Nu Jazz style strings and breaks reminiscent of
artists such as The Cinematic Orchestra but with a unique identity that only
Proof of Concept can deliver.
I want to show you my new video TEAMWORK is dedicated to telephone operators. This is the second part of my project dedicate to different means of communication after LOST POSTCARDS.
