In 2006 Anne Soldaat released his first post-Daryll-Ann piece, with the band Do-The-Undo.
In the spring of 2008 it was announced that Anne Soldaat would be recording his second soloalbum in Los Angeles with multi-instrumentalist Jason Falkner at the production helm. This inspired pairing of Anne (formerly co-songwriter, lead guitarist and sometime vocalist for much-loved Dutch masters Daryll Ann) and Jason (prodigiously talented musician, songwriter, producer and arranger who first came to prominence as the lead guitarist in Jellyfish before forming the short-lived but astonishing Grays alongside Jon Brion, and subsequently releasing a slew of majestic solo albums since 1996) spelled wonderful news for music lovers everywhere.
The album 'In another life' is the beautiful result of this creative union.
Fijne show Anne en vrienden, daar in Stayokay tijdens Oerol. Steviger dan de cd, die in de auto op de terugweg flink aan de tand is gevoeld en ruimschoots goedgekeurd! Ik miste alleen Roos een beetje :)
't Was mooi hoor. Ik hoorde ook weer een paar ouderwets lekkere solo's langskomen. Maar was Roos nou helemaal uit Deventer komen fietsen voor die 2 refreintjes? ;-)
