Live music, DJs, vendors, special guests and performers -- whatever it takes to help create an amazing event that you'll enjoy, we're interested in it! From Nosferatu and Dracula to Twilight and True Blood, we're all about vampires.
Music
What our DJs play: a dark, sensuous and vaguely dangerous mix of gothic, world music, industrial, medieval, metal, synthpop, new wave and electronica. Don't know much about those styles? Don't worry, you'll dig it.

Ball Trivia: The first Dracula's Ball took place on May 17th, 1998. Attendance was small: only 300 people. Since then, obviously, it has grown quite a bit. The fiftieth Dracula's Ball event will take place in 2010.
Television
We try to keep our comments section nice and tidy, so we generally do not approve "thanks for the add" messages or announcements about album releases, concerts, etc. We appreciate you keeping your comments relevant to Dracula's Ball.
Books
Books are essential to developing reading skills, but parties are essential to developing social skills, which is why all Dracula's Ball events are open to All Ages.
Heroes
Dracula's Ball has been around for some time now. The 40th Dracula's Ball event was held on February 16th, 2008 and was sold out days in advance. The United States Patent and Trademark Office has awarded Dracula's Ball the status of a registered trademark. The Ball has been covered by HBO, Billboard Magazine, National Geographic Television, A&E, Schattenreich TV, and numerous magazines across the US and Europe. Most recently, Dracula's Ball has been featured in HBO's "New Type" documentary to promote their "True Blood" show.

The next Ball takes place on Saturday, September 5th, 2009 and features live performances by Project Pitchfork and Carfax Abbey. Tickets are $15.50 and are on sale now through Ticketmaster, IsoTank and Digital Ferret CDs.
Who I'd like to meet:
We'd like to meet anyone who would make a good guest at one of our events. As long as you're there to have fun and not bother anyone, that would be you. If you're a great talker, a great dancer, or just great to look at, then that's even better. If you're the sort of person who likes to start fights, get drunk and harass people, or generally be a pest, then Dracula's Ball probably wouldn't suit you -- it's not that kind of party. We sorta like trouble, but not that kind of trouble.
You can buy tickets for the Ball, as well as great music, Tshirts, magazines, DVDs and more at IsoTank Music
I love Dracula's Ball! Um IDK if my opinion matters or not but I think you guys should book Suicide Silence to one of your balls (they're really great and put on a good show!) I'm pretty sure a lot will come I can't wait for another ball!
Beltaine and Lughnasa are more fun than Memorial Day and Labor Day anyway. ;) And I know I work in retail in a college town, so Labor Day is usually rough for football traffic or move-in. Also, the new weekends tend to be closer to the Dances of Vice events in NYC, and you may be able to coordinate sharing artists and splitting some costs, or cross promoting a "subway" series.
As always a smashing time... I would love for them to be honestly every two months. Hell I like them every month. Dracula's Ball is what the club scene in NYC used to be...interesting. Patrick and company keep doing what you do!
