2. Who were the bands/musicians who had the greatest influence on you?.KISS,Judas Priest,Van Halen,and Scorpions...Neil Peart, Alex Van Halen, Les Binks...I love playing Alex Van Halen more than any other drummer..I just get what he's doing..Growing up alongside Queensryche has obviously influenced Kram and myself..We have been watching them perform since their cover tune days in The Mob. .. I find it challenging to keep the beats solid and straight forward..We were originally a prog. rock band..Less is more for this line up..Our music is very radio friendly and a blast to perform.

3. Can you tell me the story of how you met the other members of Electronomicon and came to form the band? Kram and I ran into each other walking down the street..We had a verbal confrontation...It went like this..I'll kick your ass,said Kram..I replied, Oh Yeah, I know Karate..Kram replied back saying he was a student of Master Sapporo Ichiban..I thought, What the Hell! Who is this cat...We did a couple of Karate poses as if we were bad ass or something and I think we both ran away scared...Later we realized we were neighbors and metal heads..Kram had rehearsal space and I had a band called Metal in Action....We needed a 2nd guitar player and Kram fit the spot well...This was the beginning of E_N. We were very young lads.

4. What year was the band formed? Well, We started playing together in 85 in M.I.A. then we regrouped calling our band SHADY CHARACTER. We changed the lineup and changed the name to, REPTILE ORCHESTRA..At this point R.O. played shows with Bruce Dickinson, Dio, Yngwie Malmsteen and more..We continued our journey with various side projects and finally recruited the 4 funnest and talented members who had once played in Reptile Orchestra...The Chemistry of this lineup was incredible and a new sound was evolving..We had no choice except to consider a name change...current E_N lineup began approx. 2001.

5. How did you come to name the band Electronomicon?..Kram had a dream and in the dream our original logo kept flashing in his mind...Kram awoke from a deep sleep and drew the image he had dreamed..We thought it was pretty cool so we used it..Interestingly enough the image was similar to images in the Necronomicon book...We are very electric in our live performances as well as our private lives so we chose the obvious name for the band...

6. For people who have never heard of Electronomicon before how would you describe the band's sound? Solid,Radio Friendly,In Your Face Metal with Electric/Erotic overtones.

7. I noticed that the band is from Transylvania...Is there much of a music scene there? There are 3 bands out of Trans. The Munsters, The Addams Family and of course, yours truly"ELECTRO_NOMICON".

8. Being from Transylvania do you guys ever get any Dracula/Herman Munster type jokes about where you're from? Yes, we get comments like, Who's your daddy, Frankenstein or, "your mother looks like a werewolf and of course the infamous "Hey Look, It's the Dracula Boys..The funny thing is, the joke is on the heckler because we are actually related to all 3 of these SHADY CHARACTERS.

9. What has been the reaction to Electronomicon so far? Well, just on myspace we have had nearly 40'000 plays,1000 messages and over 3500 comments..All this in 5 months...2 major Labels have approached us and we are on FM Radio stations around the world. We have provided music for 2 films as well..We will be filming our 1st video as E_N in Aug.08 and we are preparing for a Major Metal Fest. in early 09...So I guess it's fair to say that the reaction has been FANtastic..Most bands purchase software that makes their myspace players look as if they receive a ridiculous amount of plays...All of our plays are by the fans..No cheating here.

10. Who would you say is the band's fans base? Beautiful young ladies,young and older Metal Heads,Kiss fans,80's metal fans,Internet DJ's such as ANG. from 94 ROCK, Bear from Strange Brew Concerts and of course Omar of Metal Monthly Magazine and you.I would have to say the lady fan base is huge..Every time we play, the chicks always expose their breasts..It's crazy....

11. What do you remember most about the band's very first recording session? The Fun..It was great...Sort of like living in a comic strip...Pure fantasy and fun..I must say the level of professionalism from D.Nelson and Bassist J.D. was incredible....These guys do their homework and usually they are done on the first take...

12. What do you remember most about the band's very first professional gig? Well, our original Bass player"BRIAN CADLE" broke his bass over a fans head who was on the front row..This guy was flirting with his girlfriend in an over aggressive way...Later we found out that Brian thumped the wrong guy....The police raided the place and sprayed Mace..The Mace went right thru my fan and I was In Serious pain..Nobody in the band got arrested. The club owners disguised us as chefs and we skated thru the night...

13. What is the craziest thing that has ever happened at one of your concerts? Besides the Bass guitar incident I would have to say the fan on fan riot..Or maybe all the ladies exposing themselves..It happens everywhere we go..I understand chicks wanting to meet the musician or Rock Star but these girls don't even know what our faces look like..It's crazy..Breasts everywhere...I'll leave that to the other band members..I have a beautiful lady..See our top friends..Newo's Lady.. Now I understand why Gene Simmons was always getting laid..MYSTERY turns the ladies on..Go figure..We've also had several stage divers break their arms.

14. Has the band toured outside of Transylvania yet or have plans to do so in the near future? We only do Castle tours in Trans. We are currently focused on the U.S.A.

15. When I listened to the CD you sent me I thought that your music had kind of a Kiss influence to you....Would you agree with that? Yes..We have a straight forward approach to our music..It is Radio friendly and a blast to perform..We consider ourselves smart writers..Our past has always been thrash or progressive rock..We didn't really attempt to sound like this,it just happened. Being a Progressive rock drummer it is very challenging for me to play simple beats and not go crazy..Wisdom has finally found it's place in my drumming..My upcoming solos will speak for themselves..I save the intense drumming for those 5 minutes..I'm not arrogant, just confident and prepared..So yes, Kiss and E_N are similar in many ways and who better than us to carry their torch...

16. What are some of your favorite songs off the band's latest CD? Shock Me is the funnest for me to play but I love NIGHT..

17. What can fans expect from Electronomican in the year 2008 and beyond? Major Metal Fest. Performances,Video's and a show they will remember all the way to their grave..If you like fire..You will love us..We only contract with major events due to our resident status...
