Eyes Burn Electric
Eyes Burn Electric (formerly Dremnt the End) has burst onto the scene with new music that is familiar but still maintains an innovative spirit. The band consists of Marcus Federman (Vox, Guitar), Ryan Holley (Lead Guitar), Harrell Williams (Drums), and Stuart Rasso (Bass).
After an EP (Imagineering 2005) and LP (Dremnt the End 2007) the band has decided to put out a seven song EP under the new moniker Eyes Burn Electric. When asked why the band changed the name they replied, "We dreamt the end and it was Eyes Burn Electric!" The new EP was produced by Dwight Baker (Kelly Clarkson, Podunk) at Matchbox Studios in Austin. "Morning Light" was produced by Matt Novesky from the Texas band Blue October and "Billie Jean" was produced by the band and engineered by Steve Chadie (Willie Nelson, Los Lonely Boys, Sublime, etc) at Pedernales Studios.

Recent Press Quotes from 2007 LP:
Austin Chronicle: the seamless verve and major label muscle with which it accomplishes exactly that is undeniably impressive for an indie concern.
Austin Monthly: Austin quartet Dremnt the End has assembled a unique collection of tracks on its self-titled release. Overall, the album is an uplifting listen.
The Daily Chorus: The Austin area has a ton of talent and this band leads the way! - Tim Towner - Founder of TDC
Melodic.net: These indie rockers display upbeat rock intertwined with a little dance. The band has great melodic choruses and the music behind the package is terrific. Resemblances to bands like The Killers and Rock Kills Kid. The slow track "Pure" has to be one of the best slower rock songs I have heard in a while, mixing ambient slow rock guitars with a great chorus and big ending! Check these guys out as you will find a top notch musical act in the genre. As indie as they guys are, the record sounds as if they should be on a major label, which from the sounds of the album, will probably not be too far in the distant future. I'm sure this is just the beginning of what you will be hearing from this band.
Austin Daze: Straightforward disco mid-80s Cure-like riffs with verve from a major label and falsetto springing forth best describes this band's sound. It seems like Robert Smith met Billy Idol and got a polished center
Austinist.com: Dremnt The End specializes in slick dance-rock ditties powered by sizzling six-string output and catchy hooks galore. The band's huge sound, produced and polished to perfection, should translate into a scintillating live show
