Music, Cars, "Hanging Out..." It's pretty much summed up up above. I'm happiest when I can walk and play with my dogs, go out for a nice meal, then hit the bars to check out a couple of good bands and hang out with those I'm closest to!
I'll switch it up sometimes and try to get out and see a little more of the world, but work tends to keep me local for now.
I love to watch auto racing, but not NASCAR. Speedway circle-track racing is a total snoozefest. I'm a fan of Australia's V8 Supercars, Germany's DTM and the UK's BTCC. Touring Cars are where it's at.

Movies
I'm not a huge movie person, to be honest. I'm very turned-off on the whole movie experience after multiple times of $10 tickets, $6 Popcorn, 30 minutes of commercials beforehand, and having some jerkoffs talking through the movie. Truthfully I think the problem is the theatre I went to, so I'll work on that. However, in relation to this I'd have to say nothing beats our road trip or party movies.
Television
The Simpsons, Futurama, ATHF, TRAILER PARK BOYS! (Frig off), Top Gear, Fifth Gear, Life on Mars, Ashes to Ashes, The IT Crowd, Firefly, House, Bones, Man vs. Wild, DTM, BTCC, WTCC, V8 Supercars.
Books
"Ethel the Aardvark goes Quantity Surveying."
"The Very Hungry Caterpillar,"
The entire Mr. Men series.
Anything by Richard Scarry.
Heroes
Blacquaman, TJ the Sexy Midget, THE ALMIGHTY LOTHAR, The tiggedy-tiggedy-Tizzaft, Bubbles, Ricky & Julian, and more!
About me: Welcome! Please mind the step and keep your hands off the exhibits. So here's the deal on me. I'm 28 (Born 1980, in case I don't get around to updating this), in Sheffield, UK. I moved to the US in '93 for 2 years, but ended up staying. I'm a permanent resident, so I'm legally allowed to take your job! I live in the Southwest Suburbs (Romeoville -- And not the ghetto part, honest!), and work in the Loop. I love Chicago for all she has to offer, but I prefer living in the 'burbs. I'm a Project Manager for a software company, I don't define myself by my work and it'd only bore you to read about it. My true loves are my Family, my Dogs, my Friends, Music, and "living life." When I'm not at work I can be found hanging with my dogs, and exploring the neighbourhood. I have 3 male dogs, Rusty, a Shih-tzu, and Pickles, a mutt from the Circus (really!). When I'm out and about I'm often at live music events, I love both the cover and original scene, and Chicago has plenty to offer for both. I'm a beer drinker, and somewhat of a beer snob, but one of my favourite breweries is located right in the area, Two Brothers Brewery in Warrenville. I love karaoke (I like to think I can sing, others would argue), I play a little bass, and I volunteer for an animal rescue. I watch a little TV, and have a few movies I adore (Wayne's World Series, Airheads, Spinal Tap, etc).
Anyway, I'm sure you've read enough, if you want to know something else, just ask. I don't bite unless provoked.
Who I'd like to meet: Hmm.. I'm not big on "celebrity worship," however I always enjoy the chance to meet musicians who've made an impact on my life, and thank them for their art. I'm always open to meeting new people, but of course it's always easier to relate to someone who shares the same interests as you. I've met literally tons of people off the internet in my travels, and nearly all of the experiences have been great, and I've met some very cool friends either directly via the Web, or indirectly via web connections.
Don't you hate it when lame ass Rock bands from Chicago, whom you foolishly befriended months ago, randomly appear in comment form to invite you out to their inane shows as if they believe you're gullible enough (you know gullible isn't in the dictionary, right?!) and/or lacking in a social life to actually come hang? Me too. Good thing we're not much of a band or this would be awkward! Awkward like the first dance between two hormone raging teens going through puberty, haha! Alas, it's us, Oui Si Only You, in our most impersonal social networking form. Sorry to get you all excited to read your new comment only to be disappointed like a jilted lover on prom night. It's not all bad, at least we didn't do one of those weird, "Do you like me?" comments, right? I don't think our fragile hearts could have taken the answer to that one! Any who, we're rocking (I know, debatable right, but whether it's master debatable remains the ultimate conundrum!) our last few shows for the year out at a few splendid, unknown little Chicago establishments called Double Door (1572 N. Milwaukee Ave; 21+) on Wed. Nov. 18th at 8pm and Reggie's Rock Club (2109 S. State St.; 17+) on Sat. Nov. 28th at 7pm. We could all perish happily . . . if that's possible . . . knowing you came out and mocked our uninspired /downright ignorant brand of music along with our A.D.D. riddled stage energy. Peace face.
Rich! It was good to see you and Vicki this past weekend!! I guess the next time I see you all will be on the 14th at Reggies. Man, I need to move closer! Have a Great rest of the week!
So I tried on my Halloween costume tonight (it's pretty amazing, if I do say so myself) and it occurred to me that your costume from last year would have been the perfect foil for my costume this year. The sleazy 1970's car salesman trying to sell a car to the sexually repressed 1950's housewife. It would have been hi-larious. I weep that such hilarity is not to be so. :(

Hey Rich!! Figure it's been a minute or two since I hopped over the myspace gates and trespassed through your page while endlessly annoying the crap out of you in the process! We've got a few killer shows coming up on Wednesday Sept. 23rd at Shark City in Glendale Heights (21+) and Saturday Sept. 26th at Penny Road Pub in Barrington (All Ages)! We'd love to see you out there rocking out as you pelt us with pennies like we're freshman at our first high school pep rally, out of disgust over what you're hearing, haha! Kidding! Just thought this would be a better way to holler at our friends than posting oversized flyers that take up half your page or Youtube videos, making this more impersonal than it already is and becoming one of those dreaded, "myspace bands!" Hope everything is going swimmingly on your side of the glowing box . . . yup, busted out swimmingly, haha! I use far too many exclamation points to emphasize my point, haha!!! Damn it. Peace.
I like MDD, but to me, it has more of the 80's KISS sound. They said they were trying to make the album more classic, circe Rock n Roll Over, but I think they missed that mark. However, I'm just happy there is a new album and tour! (Got tix to two shows next month already!)
Have you heard Ace's first single, "Outer Space?" It blows MDD out of the water.
