About me:

You want to know about me, huh? Well...I'm 30, married, have a 9 year old daughter (aka the Heathen) and I'm a writer of Dark Paranormal Romance. Why do I emphasize the dark? Ask some of my readers. :)

Seriously though, I like to break the mold when I'm writing. I love anti-heros and anti-heroines...and love turning them into main characters even more. I don't want to read about another goodie-goodie female doctor, lawyer or office worker who finds themselves dropped into a paranormal world.

I want real people.

You know, the ones who are just as likely to walk by another person being mugged as they are to help. I want antagonists you hate, but not because they do something offensive...but because somewhere inside yourself you can identify (or at least understand) why they're killing someone or worse.

Because really, at the end of the day, if the paranormal world I've created is just as dark as the one we live in (or darker), and some of the characters are just as messed up as the rest of us...doesn't it make something as fleeting as love - even more worth fighting for?

Okay, enough about my books...although I shouldn't stop commenting on my novels without telling you how much I'd appreciate it if you'd buy my book. I really, really would. Really. A lot. It's the only way I'll get to stay home and keep writing them. :)

I have never seen the ocean.
I have 6 tattoos.
For a brief period of time, I was a tattoo artist.
I am two years older than my husband.
I am deathly afraid of bees.
I have an unhealthy obsession with straight lines.
