ABOUT: Much of the music is rooted in elemental sound, minimal gestures and unsophisticated architecture. "Economy" and "ecology" of used acoustic or electronic material is also typical for this work. Rough tones of voice and viola accompaniment refer to aboriginal sources of inspiration on the one hand and impetuous emotional message on the other.
„I discovered for myself and adopt a musical idioms of traditional folk culture related to my native place. Articulation of its essence in my own musical phraseology and language is my general tendency. To this purpose I practise improvisation and au naturel or unconventional ways of performance. I find various environments (including acoustically unsuitable ones in conventional meaning) to resound them with my play and sing. I let the nature of each space to manifest its fundamentals in high degree and entirely surround the music. This factor constitutes an equipollent component of my music making that strongly influences its sounding, expression and atmosphere. I embrance an opportunity to play in the middle of hallways, chambers, chapels, barns, cottages, woods, mountains, meadows, rivers and the like.“
