Why sit in a classroom drawing the beautiful but mundane when you can join us in a a festive atmosphere of creativity as we draw, sketch, paint and otherwise capture the exotic and exoteric beauty of Roller Derby Girls, Burlesque Performers, Belly Dancers, and the occasional Side Show Freak. It takes place at Gypsy Cafe in Pittsburgh's historic southside. Where our caravan of models, minstrals and miscreants, roll in 12 times a year to inspire artists as libations and creativity merge to create Dr. Sketchy's Anti Artschool! Come draw our lovely feature pinup model, Ashley Stone as she poses in costumes provide by our friends at Spotlight Costume. Prizes, games, and entertainment are presented. Suggested donation of $10. Must be 21 to imbibe and induldge in spirits. Liquid inspiration available for purchase at the bar as well as a limited menu. a portion of the proceeds benefit the Pittsburgh ToonSeum Gallery. learn more about the good doctor at drsketchy.com and while you are there buy the coloring book.

I got to finally go to a Dr.Sketchy show! The White Trash art was so filthy and degrading it made me have sic 'n' wrong thoughts about my sister ... now if only I had a sister I'd be all set! But really, I enjoyed every minute of it and I give emense credit to all the models and people who made that show possible. :-) Thank you from the bottom of my morally depraved heart. I'll be sure to be there for the next show !
Wonderful to meet you too! I was very inspired by all that you are doing over there! Are you all recovered from Comic Con? Please KIT, and let me know a good time for Striptease Symposium to come out there and play! I'd love to get planning in the works. Take care!
