One of the most exciting and on-the-edge bands of recent years, The View emerged in late 2006, releasing their debut album, 'Hats Off To The Buskers' in early ’07. A whirlwind of destruction and great tunes the View embodied all that is vital about rock ‘n’ roll. Their debut album sold in excess of 300,000 copies.
Decamping to rural Wales in the early summer of ’08 with producer Owen Morris (perhaps the only man able to not only channel their schizophrenic ideas & plans but also to simply keep up with them) they set to work on their second album, ‘Which Bitch’. The record will perhaps come as a bit of a shock for those expecting a re-run of the 1st album’s infectious collection of tracks; still heavy on the joyful rush that made their debut so exciting, the album also weaves its way from rip-roaring heads-down boogie to Tayside sea-shanties via moments of real beauty.
The album will be released in early 2009. Further UK dates will be announced to coincide with its release.

Was at the Dundee gig last night. Great atmosphere but the sound setup was the worst it's ever been in there. We went not expecting much from the sound after seeing them twice at the Caird Hall before but this was just BAD. You should track down everyone that went and give them a soundboard recording as compensation ;)
Set list was as follows:
5Rebbeccas Wasted Little DJs The Don One Off Pretender Skag Trandy Covers Face For The Radio Realisation Born To Make You Happy (New track - name might not be correct) ? (New track - couldn't make much of it out due to piss poor sound setup so can't even guess the track name) Louie Louie (Cover) Same Jeans (with Wild Thing mixed in at the end) Superstar Tradesman Shock Horror
We had a great night despite the poor sound and we'll still be following them wherever logistically possible.
