DSFAR is run mainly by Richard and Jaynie, but so many other people get involved helping with promotion, posters, DJing, equipment, bookings, etc..., that DSFAR considers itself to have a vast number of sexy personnel way beyond just us two.
We're about putting on awesome bands we love, whatever they sound like. Although we're indiepop kids at heart, we're eclectic sorts and we've all got massive differences in music taste, which can only be a good thing when it comes to putting on bands/artists.
DSFAR also hosts a monthly night called The Corner Store. It takes place once a month at The Malt Cross on St. James's Street. It's free to get in!
Any bands interested in a gig, please get in touch, but (BUT!) be warned, do please look at the list of bands we like and have put on in the past before you message us. We only put on gigs when we really love a band, we don't just do a regular night where we need bands to fill a hole in the schedule.
Below, in our friends list, are a selection of the bands we've put on in the past. Check 'em out.
