(Like every good Myspace band, dublinStu dispenses a team of writers to write their bio in the 3rd person, using words like "captivating," "majestic," and "indubitably.")
In early 2005, some Palm Desert residents came together to start jamming. After jam members slowly started fading away, the band that would be known as dublinStu was indubitably narrowed down to only the finest musicians. Some call it natural selection, some call it a lack of social skills. Nevertheless, in the summer of 2006, dublinStu slowly started to write majestic original material, as opposed to before, when they only covered songs. Now, these songs are recorded for all to hear, as they release captivating never-before-heard demos to the public on a somewhat regular basis.

Question often asked:
Q-How did you guys come up with that remarkable name of yours?
A-It all started during our sophomore year of high school. Will was attending boarding school and Justin was attending public school. Soon after school started, Will acquired the nickname Dub Stu ("Dub" for the "W" in "Will," and "Stu" as in "Sturgeon"). In order to completely capture the awe of his new name, we decided to change Dub to dublin. (Because of Justin's red hair, one may think he is irish.) Hence, "dublinStu."
Q-How old is dublinStu?
A- We are both freshmen in college.
Q-Why doesn't dublinStu make more videos regularly?
A-In his sophomore year of high school, right after the formation of dublinStu, Will moved to a boarding school. Justin stayed in Palm Desert, making it hard for dublinStu to perform together and collaborate together on a regular basis. As it is their senior year in high school, dublinStu is still separated. Hopefully they will end up together next year, to continue pursuing music.
Q-Who is that girl in those videos? And is Alex Kaneko in this band?
A-That girl is Will's younger sister, Abby. She, unfortunately, is not in our band, nor does she have her own music. We are trying to encourage her to begin songwriting, but for now, she has not.
Alex Kaneko, while close friends of both Will and Justin, is not in this band either. Will and Alex met at boarding school, and were (coincidentally) put as roommates, eventually ending up close friends. They recorded a CD at their school, but do not have their own band, nor is Alex in dublinStu.
