Duke Dumont, 26, has made a big splash in the scene, equally known for his memorable DJ sets as he is for his "catch you off guard" productions.
In 2006, Duke was crowned Diesel U Music champion, beating thousands of other producers to be considered the best unsigned producer in the world by a host of music industry judges, consisting the like of 2manyDJs. Previous winners for this award include producers such as Mylo and DJ Yoda.
Duke Dumont rose to prominence in 2007 with the release of Lean & Bounce, featured on his debut EP "Regality" on Turbo Recordings. A fusion of low pitched vocal hooks, with a finely tuned techno lead, combined with an unbeatable bassline, created one of the dance records of the year. Championed by the likes of Erol Alkan, SMD, Switch, Jesse Rose, Armand Van Helden and literally thousands more.
As well as being referred to as a producer, equal sentiment can be placed on his Djing ethic. Holding down regular sets at the likes of Fabric, Razzmatazz and Bugged Out, whilst touring from Australia to the United States, Canada and the whole of Europe within the last year. All this makes Duke one of the most traveled and in-demand DJs in the UK. His ability of blending deep house and techno, whilst contrasting tensions defines him one of the biggest underground DJs on the circuit, backed up by future shows consisting of We Love @ Space (Ibiza) and The Panoramabar (Berlin).
Currently riding high off the back of his latest remix of the Mystery Jets ‘Two Doors Down’, it has already been touted as an anthem for this summer, gaining support from many, with Laurent Garnier responding being:
"I ABSOLUTELY LOOOOVE THE DUKE DUMONT RECONSTRUCTION, it is awesome. I will playlist on the radio and hammer it in the clubs."
In addition the eagerly awaited Domion Dubs EP, forthcoming on Dubsided in July which is due to make waves and already being placed by Erol Alkan in his chart for the last two months. It featured a review in Observer Music Monthly:
‘The Duke, a 26-year-old Londoner, has emerged as an unruly electro shapeshifter after a string of vibrant dancefloor bangers.’ – ‘it marks him out as an original talent amid a scrum of chancing laptop mimics.’
At present, Duke is working on an album project, as well as ghost writing for more mainstream acts, which further highlights the versatility of his talents.

Two Doors Down Remix.... truly truly stunning. If ever there was a track that gives you the shudders it's this, will be a favourite for many years to come. Bravo to da Duke!
By far the worst sound of the night was 'ooh ooh, ooh ooh,' reminiscent of a school disco, however thankfully the BEST sound of the night was blatantly YOU. Much much much appreciated, XXX hope to see you again XXX xxx XX
Hey! I haven't had as much time as I would like lately. Not for myself at least, been promoting/DJing a lot and writing with a band :) I like the new tunes man, keep up the great work! Do you have plans on making it to Chicago anytime soon?

Easy Rude Bwoy!!! Just to let you know I made your Reconstrution of 'Two Doors Down' my 'BIG IN THE BOX' tune on this weeks radio show.. Mate it's F**king sick... Might see you Friday night.. BIG UP's!
Haha! Duke Dumont in the proud Britsh tradition branching out from Henry Purcell! Then again, if executed properly, "Dido's farewell" is capable of moistening the eyes of even a cynic such as myself, so I guess any influence from Purcell is bound to be be benificiary.
Anyway, here's to hoping "Dominion Dubs" will be out in the near future!
