Tony Stone has been producing since the late 80's. Since his days making hardcore and industrial stuff for Kickin Records and experimental psychedelic albums for Mongolian Tourist Board/MFTE/Dyscfunctional/Earworm under a number of guises. He formed Rebelbass Recordings in 1995 to get some of the great music that was coming into his contact out to the public like "The 3rd Gunman","Tapeheads" and "The Electrode Mushroom".
After a heady stint on Sheffield's pirate radio he teamed up with fellow noisemonger DJ Tat and formed Bio Static Systems and released on the Flagbearer/Labworks UK label and Hard Leaders imprint.
Next came sublime electronica for the Tyke and Myzuyk labels under his "File with Interpol" project (Debut LP "Northern Borders" availbale from the Myzuyk website).
Now signed to the 3 Bar Fire label (1st release "Dead Weight EP out now) , Stone is pushing his sounds in an even darker and harder direction than ever before.
Now working and producing for
Bogong Moth (With Richard Brown)
Stove (With SasQwax)
Duke Spook (Solo)
File with Interpol (Solo)

Having entered the scene with acknowledged debut „Rippling“ dub:iouz records turn up the heat braving the ascent of London’s bristle winter with their second release. Hailing from the Baltic, Estonian producer L-OW delivers a blizzard of dubby warmth that might just be the cure for all your low-end needs. Add a snippet of mild schizophrenia to this tasty mixture of carefully selected assortment of sounds and you know what L-OW is all about – it’s deep, it’s hypnotic, it’s physical.
L-OW live in Vienna Oct.08:
Check the dub:iouz blog for the full mix and tracklist!!!
Thanks for the add and for taking the time to give us a listen ~ will try and be in touch when we're next playing. We're pretty good at remembering to send out event notices on facebook if you have an account. I always get the link wrong but if you search for us it should come up!
We're next playing on the 24th at Corporation supporting Lahannya before winding down at the end of the year. Should be our last "full" sheffield show of '08
