Dyrk Shivay is an extraordinary artist without any musical reservations. His journeys through about fifty countries inspired him to merge different native vibes with his own modern acoustic driven music. Dyrk Shivay..s distinctive voice delivers emotions so clearly and leaves no doubt about the depths he..s been through. Also his endless journeys through all different kind of musical styles has driven him finally to live his passion to middle and far eastern sounds. So he extended his collection of acoustic guitars with numerous oriental string instruments like:
Irish & Greek Bouzouki Turkish Saz Arabian Oud Turkish Cümbüs Indian Sarod Irish Geyerleier
and many more. In spite of those strong influences Dyrk Shivay was able to create a musical symbiosis that is easily floating between the well known worlds of acoustic Pop & World Music.
In his long term capacity as a songwriter/producer/sound engineer he is able to write, record and produce his music in his recording studio all by himself. His experience with many international artists like “The Rasmus, Mando Diao, Bauhaus...” let him finally create an amazingly unique sounding debut album entitled “Remember Yourself”. The title and the lyrics are speaking about the resistances of life and about walking the endless path of awareness.
