If you're more interested in my comedy, I've uploaded a couple of live videos...
I hope that they work!
If you're somebody who wants to book me or help get me or my new CD world-famous (HEAVY HINT!), have a look at either/both. There's also a longer video...my EPK (electronic press-kit).
Also now available for download on to your iPod is a full interview that made recently in the street near my home, at a café table...

Influences
Influences? How long have you got?
Puccini, Tchaikowsky, Caruso, Chaliapin, Paul Robeson, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Hoagy Carmichael, Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, Billie Holiday, Peggy Lee, Joao Gilberto, Mel Torme...the list goes on!
However, he is unique!
Sounds Like
You decide. However, the plain truth is that there's nobody like him at all!! ;-)
Here's one recent opinion...from someone who knows!
"You are quite a genius you are - you have managed to find a niche in Cabaret I have never seen nor heard before - you are simply brilliant. Hard to categorize - musician/comedian or what - I guess you are anything the audience wants to categorize you as long as they book you.
One must see you in person to "get you" - even though your musicianship is fantastic!!! Your guitar and especially piano playing is thrilling in all the genres!
One thing I gleaned from your performance is that one must "experience you" - live - "where you live - you need an audience! Those little nuances you have in your "kit" needs people to experience them.."
BUDDY BREGMAN (2008)
(Legendary producer/arranger of the Ella Fitzgerald 'Songbook' series, who has also worked with just about everybody..from Sammy Davis Jr. to Bing Crosby, etc...)
Although I was signed to the same company as The Beatles in the 60s and recorded at Abbey Road, I only went full time in 1979, by coincidence opening (the only opening act ever used) for Paul McCartney's WINGS. Since then, I've worked as a Jazz singer/musician (LOVE the music of Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, Hoagy Carmichael etc.), performed Bossa Nova in Brazil (Joao Gilberto and Tom Jobim...more geniuses!), become a headline act on the London comedy circuit and, still a singer-songwriter, of-course, performed my one-man show with success at the Edinburgh Festival and, indeed, literally around the world.
Naturally, I'm always available for A&R men, film producers, TV producers and gorgeous women, especially, (though not necessarily), if they're from Brasil!!!... ;-)
I recently had a CD out on SONY (covering more of my comedy-music.
You can now download it from...

I THINK that that's the correct link, anyhow! ;-)

Sorry it's taken an age to respond to your message!
Yes, I know Simon Wallace well and recorded all my songs on here with him. He's on keys too. Brilliant musician!
I LOVE "You & I." Is it one of yours? Your voice is a hybrid of McCartney and Orbison. That's a real compliment. Would love to hear more of your non comedy songs (there's nothing wrong with them you understand, I just love your tone of voice!)
