About me: EBONSIGHT was formed in the gloomy back streets of istanbul in 1993. Consisting of 3 members, the band was hailed as the first all-female black metal band of the early 90's. The first demo Ocean Ebon was released in 1994 and over 700 copies were distributed worldwide, mostly in Europe. There were no myspace pages back then, but the scene was very strong. Those who were there at the time will remember! The second demo "as the river runs through the pain" was released in 1995,and a record deal with Woodnymph Recs(BEL) was sealed shortly after. During which time the band location was changed to UK. In 1996, the bassist has announced her departure while on the other side of the English Channel more gloom lurked upon Woodnymph recs as the label ran into trouble over their previous release.
