            Echolocation Recordings Document 4 (1CD)
                  $5
19 spontaneous compositions, 7 of which feature bassist Andrew Hefner, from
Tony Renner on acoustic and electric guitar in a painterly meditation on British
improv guitarist Derek Bailey, recorded both at home and live at the Lemp
Neighborhood Arts Center.

Various Artists
      BioSonarOne
            Echolocation Recordings Document 3 (3CD)
                  $15
BioSonarOne was Echolocation Recordings inaugural festival featuring
numerous regional artists from the improv / experimental / electroacoustic /
noise / uncategorizable circles; as well as regional literature, video art, and
potluck.
This 3 CD compilation, documenting each set from the event unedited and in
the order they appeared, includes:
      Epicycle (Mark Sarich)
Catholic Guilt (Sean Burk, Joe Stein, Pete Stein, Nick Zengerling)
Learn, Artist (Gena Brady Allen, Robin Allen, Tony Renner)
      Andrew Hefner and Jeremy Kannapell
Brain Transplant (Ajay Khanna and Chris Smentkowski)
The Grande Creepes (Jeremy Brantlinger and James Weber, jr.)
Worm Hands (Dave Greteman and Josh Levi)
      Eric Hall and Sharon Hall
      Eric Hall
Jeremy Brantlinger, Ajay Khanna, and Aaron Smith
      Mike Pitts
      Joseph Potthoff
Peanuts (Jeremy Brantlinger, Eric Hall, Nazeer Sadeeq Holmes)
The event, held in the large gallery of Mad Art, was designed as an indoor
picnic where the audience could enjoy the various approaches to
non-traditional musics, food provided by the organizers and audience, video /
film projections, books and zines from local writers and publishers, and a
mini-shop set up by Cherokee St.'s Apop Records (offering a hand picked
selection of music, literature, and videos to compliment the event).
The cover was $7, or totally free if you contributed a dish. Smoking was
allowed only in the fenced-in outdoor garden area, and a full-service cash bar
was available.

Grandpa's Ghost
The Prairie Drone Refraction (There Is No Time)
Echolocation Recordings Document 2 / Phosphorus Recordings CD007 (CDEP)
                  $8
At White Flag Projects on April 1st, 2007 Grandpa's Ghost (whose line-up for
this event featured Bill Emerson, Jack Petracek, and Eric Hall; plus Ben Hanna
contributing live from New York City via telephone) improvised four 15 minute
sets to new video works from Chicago-based video-artist James Fotopoulos.
Each set was recorded and then replayed during the following sets until, by the
end, all four sets occurred in the space simultaneously. This EP represents that
final movement, with the four layers combining into one 15 minute piece with
wavering textures, distorted reflections, and displaced depths. The album
features artwork from James Fotopoulos. Released in partnership with
Phosphorus Recordings.

Peanuts (Jeremy Brantlinger, Eric Hall, Nazeer Sadeeq Holmes)
      A_BIM_CS_FS_C_B_P_BTR
            Echolocation Recordings Document 1 (3CD)
                  $15
Brand new triple-disc collection containing more than three-and-a-half hours of
electroacoustic improvisations from Peanuts (Jeremy Brantlinger, Eric Hall,
Nazeer Sadeeq Holmes) performed on all manner of percussion, keyboards,
electronics, horns, toys, and everyday objects during seven different live
recordings from The Lemp Neighborhood Art Center, CBGB, The Schlafly Tap
Room, Mad Art, and KDHX; plus a remix by Precious Movements (Jason Hutto).
Contains everything from the tempered coaxings of the quietest sounds and
minute sonic gestures, to lop-sided free grooves, to high-density tone-stacking
through real-time sampling and layering. The three CDs come packaged in
transparent DVD cases with transparent covers and glossy cardstock inserts
and features photography from Thomas Crone and Derrick Lau, text from Brett
Lars Underwood, and cover illustrations from Jonathan Holmes.
