Echo Screen formed in 2003 as a few friends from the same New Jersey town trying to make a dent in a crowded scene. After two years of hard work, touring, and releasing their 2005 EP An American Tale, they signed with an indie label with the hopes of taking that next step towards rock and roll stardom. Instead, shortly after their debut full-length Euphoria was released, the band was left stranded by a label that disbanded in the midst of the Echo Screen's most successful tour, abandoning them at a critical point.
Rather than going further into debt to family members and straining friendships, the guys opted for a hiatus. But during this hiatus, the Goodbye Old Life EP was born in Shaune Scutellaro's (vocals, guitar) songbook. Shaune spent the time in L.A. regrouping, while Mike Badders (drums) and Tim Sager (bass) stayed on the shores of New Jersey. The break, however, gave them the vigor to pursue their new recordings with a renewed outlook, inspired to transform Echo Screen into something original.
The five new songs on Goodbye Old Life, produced by Ace Enders, are a mature offering from a band that previously made their living on sugary pop punk tunes. Lyrically, it is a journey into the chaos and clarity that comes from the forks in life's road; Musically, it is anything but formulaic. Calling on influences from the past like Simon & Garfunkel, The Beach Boys, and mixing it with the modern flair of Oasis and Death Cab for Cutie, the band succeeded in creating a new recipe for success.
Echo Screen is no stranger to the stage and is planning a slew of dates in conjunction with the release. Over the years they have shared the stage with acts like All Time Low, Boys Like Girls, Hellogoodbye, The Rocket Summer, Steel Train, The Matches, and plenty more, and have a loyal east coast following that is anxiously awaiting their newest release Goodbye Old Life.
HERE'S WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT "EUPHORIA"
ALTERNATIVE PRESS MAGAZINE
"While there are plenty of bands working the genre-blending angle, Echo Screen just do it better and they do it fearlessly. Euphoria is a fun listen and will convert even the most stringent pop-punk haters into true believers."
FORTHESOUND.COM
"Echo Screen has put out one of the most mature debut full length albums in many years." - 9.3/10
HORRORMEDIA.NET
"There can’t be enough said about these kickass Jersey boys; their new album is full of top-shelf musicality and an originality uncharacteristic of a band that’s only been together for three years. “Euphoria” is the album you need to give your iPod new life."
SMOTHER.NET
"Echo Screen is so incredibly great at crafting that sugary mall punk sound that I could give a damn if they..re similar to this band or that group. Starting with the album opener ..This Letter Bomb.., ..Euphoria.. is one massive hit after another. Filled to the brim with catchy-as-hell hooks and perfected bridges, it..s one album that deserves to be in the limelight."
SKYLINEPRESS.NET
"The whole CD flows together with ease and serious creative nuances that separate them from many other pop rock bands that have the similar sounds, as lyrics jump off the page and intrigue the listener. This is unmistakably their break out album..."

With an assembly that includes members of Ministry (Warner Bros.) and Thrill Kill Kult (Rykodisc), it's obvious project .44 has a firm grasp on the aggro/industrial/tek metal scene. Hailing from the industrial/tek-metal capital of Chicago, where pioneers like Ministry paved the way for recent grads like Static-X, project .44 continues the tradition of Chicago's knack for mixing pulverizing guitar licks with catchy dance beats. It is the forging experience that Louis Svitek (Ministry) provides when laying down the tracks that the band transfers to the stage explicitly and explosively.
Also dance all night to resident DJs Copper Top, Zlaya, Krazy Karoline
