Egghead. existed from 1994-1998. The period after
their name has been widely discussed. They were based
in New York City and used to play in venues like
CBGB’s, Coney Island High and The Continental, and
they opened for bands like The Dickies, The Figgs, The
Parasites, Ann Berretta and Furious George. They
toured a couple of times, playing as far south as
Athens, GA Sometimes people get drunk, log onto
message boards and credit them with starting the New
York Pop-Punk scene. John Ross Bowie (bass/vocals),
Mike Faloon (drums) and Johnny Reno (guitar/vocals)
are flattered by this sentiment, but really feel like
we’re all winners.

Let me tell you, I am kicking myself in the butt REALLY hard for missing your set at the Charm City Art Space after the blackout on Friday. Regardless, the acoustic set was enough to sell me on you guys as my new favorite band. Thanks for the add.
