Influences: in the 80's - Billy Idol, Cyndi Lauper, Siouxsie Sioux, Blondie, Berlin, Sinead, Aimee Mann, New Order, Dead Kennedy's, Descendents. In the 90s - Front Line Assembly, Nitzer Ebb, Front 242, Bjork, Radiohead, Aphex Twin, Kraftwerk, Massive Attack, Autechre.
What I listen to now: I pretty much love all 70's music from The Bee Gees to The Doors. I also seek out fresh electronic music. NOT techno though. I really, honestly don't like most techno. The glowstick era was just after my time. ;-)

In short, I love electronic music, outer space and mixed martial arts.
I was raised by two loving math professors and am grateful. For some reason I became obsessed with space in 1992 and it stuck with me all these years. I'm the Mars Projects Manager for the Space Frontier Foundation and have volunteered for many years for the National Space Society. Ironically, I have way more connections in the space industry than I do in the music business. The fact that I'm an experimental electronic musician probably explains why I don't have many "connections". Breaking down the walls of conformity is not a recipe for a major record deal. * * * I train at Southwest Mixed Martial Arts in Tempe. I loooove it. I appreciate how fighters in general put mind over matter. They are professional athletes displaying very technical skills. Jiu Jitsu exercises the mind as much as the body! * * * I'm always searching inward and outward. Usually that means reading about physics and philosophy and pondering. It's possible that the answers are contained in the universe itself. But if something beyond our realm created the universe, then how better to get closer to our "creator" than to learn about the universe? If we do have a superior being watching over us who doesn't appreciate our self motivation and curiosity, then I am no follower of theirs. (I don't believe in a creator - it's just food for thought for those of you who do.) If you actually read this far, thanks for reading. You must be crazy.
In 2003 I was commissioned by the NASA Haughton-Mars Project to film a pop music video in the Canadian High Arctic (75 degrees North) to promote the idea of humans living on Mars. I froze my tail off, but have never had so much fun in my life! Mars has a 24 hour day/night cycle which plants would appreciate, and recently discovered water/ice. It wouldn't be easy by any stretch, but we could live there someday.

Superb! Good luck on the Mars project. Sounds like so much fun. I wish I could do something like that. I've been a "space" fanatic as well as having a big interest in astronomy since I was a kid. Maybe we'll both be on Mars someday. ;-)
Btw, I'm currenly working on my progrock "space" concept album which'll also have electronica and orchestral elements in it. Would love it, if you've got the time when it's done, if you could do vocals/ singing on it. ;-) Do a collab.
I've been checking out your youtube videos as well. Very cool videos. I like the new music technology you're making. It really opens up a new world of sound. Especially the new scales. :-) Would love to use some of those scales myself on my new project.
How are you doing? It's been a while! ZIA rules. ;-) I ordered two albums from the site recently and also your solo album from the Mars site. :-) Can't wait to get them.
Alright, thanks this will be great. Look right under the video here, youll see a "share" button, with in that there is a link that says, "embed" I beleive, and that will give you the codes to paste. You can do the video, its life extension stuff and metabolism, AI and stuff like that in their for filler during the week and then live speaker in the field interviewed on sundays at 5. If you look in the chat box coding you can see adjustments for height and width if you want to use those.
