the album was recorded – more and less – totally inspired by Jules Vernes and his book: Voyage au Centre de la Terre, and the Icelandic – unbound nature.

This unique event marks the third annual State Holiday of NSK in Reykjavik.
NSK is the only supra-national, universal state in the history of mankind and exists only in time, i. e. not space. NSK originated as a Slovenian art movement but exploded out of all boundaries as the world grew smaller / larger and time evaporated.
NSK..s recent activities in Iceland include a concert with Laibach 22th Mars 2006 and the opening of an Ambassade in Reykjavik 22th Mars 2008.
On Easter Saturday evening, the 22nd of March, from 20.00 – 3.00 o’clock, Reykjavik will experience legendary artists, together with brand new acts, activated by sheer compulsion:

Stereo Hypnosis is heading for their firsts European Tour in the beginning of September. It starts in Estonia and the focus point is: ECLECTICA 2009 / AVANT GARDE CULTURAL FESTIVAL - in the University City Tartu. Artist who have made their appearances there - are for example: Trentemöller, Autechre, múm, Royksopp, Laurent Garnier, Sigur Rós, Gus Gus, The Knife and Brian Eno. The motto of the festival promoters (Eclectica 2009) - ‘is to blur the between the audience and the performers, between ages and nationalities, sexes and beliefs, to promote culture in Estonia without commercial ambitions.’ - How about that! Then the road is taken southward: Latvian, Lithuania and then - finally Slovenia - to pay a visit to circle of friends. As Stereo Hypnosis sees it: “The Eastern Europe is historically the Mecca of the electronic music-scene, and the trip is perfect opportunity to publicize our music - but we will but I will defiantly take notes - with scientific approach of course.” Pan Thorarensen and his father Oskar Thorarensen, are well quintet with the New Slovenian Kunst (NSK) - artists and musicians; Laibach from Ljubljana (Slovenia). Hopefully will they (Stereo Hypnosis) will be taken seriously!

Asylum seekers in Iceland are few every year compared to other countries, mainly because of the country..s position. And yet it seems everything is done to send those few people away when possible. This seems also, according to figures, to apply rather to black people than others. Let the figures speak for themselves: From 1990 to 2007, 601 persons applied for an asylum. Out of these, one was granted asylum and 53 were granted temporary residence permits on humanitarian grounds. On Friday night there will be a concert dedicated to the moral support of icelandic artists, scholars, activists and friends of foreign refugees in Iceland. Come and see Vicky, Blóð (Blood), Megasukk & Ágústa Eva, Tótu & Djassbandið, the rapper Nour from Bagdad, Skorpulifur and AMFJ. Sódóma Reykjavík Tryggvagata. Starts at 21:00, finishes early in the morning. Entrance is 1000 (number that includes an appetizer!) kr. – Except for asylum seekers, who get only 2.500 kr. - a week as pocket money.
