Along with creating children's books, I speak at schools, conferences and events, and teach "Creating Picture Books" at the John C. Campbell Folk School.
Movies
My all time faves are still Finding Nemo and Contact.
Television
hulu!
Books
I read tons of Mid Grade and Young Adult fiction. It would be impossible to name all my favorites.
Heroes
The master illustrators in the children's book industry: Maurice Sendak, Chris Van Allsburg, Paul O. Zelinsky, etc, etc, the list goes on!!
Thank you for the friendship. As you can see, I am a writer promoting my work on myspace. I have a fiction blog where I post short stories as a way of staying in touch with fans and to give potential new readers a chance to gauge my work. It would be very cool if you'd check it out.
Thanks for including me in your MySpace circle of friends!

Hello e, I just wanted to let you know I have two guitars for sale on ebay. One"s a 1970s Vintage Giannini Craviola 12-string - the other is a child-size Ovation Applause.
The Giannini needs some work, but according to one expert in NYC, once it"s repaired, it"s a thousand-dollar guitar. (It"s a bit warped on the bridge, but no cracks or anything.) The Ovation is pristine.
Here are the web addresses if you want to take a look: (But seriously - no pressure - I just wanted you to have a chance at them while they"re up there. )

(The URLs may wrap weird - if they do, just search with the terms and the guitars will come right up.)
Thanks - and wish me luck. If the bidding"s good, I might just get me a new Strat!
