Eh...to create an image of ourself as beyond any form of external influence would be rather silly, but as we commit ourself to a fluid eclecticism, it would be futile to attempt any reproduction of our influences in this here forum. Let me quote Henry Lipton, in lack of anything better to do (I know all these quoting is pretty pretentious, but what can you do, I'm just making up the path as I go here, improvising...give me a break eh?) -'(...) all art, is a labor of love and the person on the recieving end is like a passive female, not unwilling to be seduced if you catch her in the right mood, but expecting you to make the first move, and often the second and third, too.
No, it is enough for the artist to say it, to do it, to live it. Contagion will take care of the rest.' - That was slightly of the subject wasn't it...well, it's saying that it should all pretty much be up to you, the listener, while we just do our thing...maybe I should have written this stuff in the 'sounds like' section instead, but I've already got something there... --- though, come to think of it, one thing I would like to do is to give praise to a couple of contemporary local bands we dig, that gives us a sense of not being alone: Spring Collection - Buran Buran - Lebensraum - Autofellatio - TV - Lada (who broke up, but whom I find it of uttermost importance to bring to everyones attention) - Orangebox (who fled town bit are still with us in our hearts) - Leipzig affair - The Daily Hum - Kakke & Demonica - Dog & Sky - the whole 'klubb kanin'-scene - G.O.D.S - and others I'm sure.

'Everywhere we go the say DAMN! Ella Guru is fucking up the programme, and then you realise we don't care, we don't just say no, we're to busy saying YEAH!' --- 'cause we're the kind'a niggaz that's built to last, if you fuck with us we'll put a foot in your ass' osv. osv. fritt etter våre brødre i Niggaz With Attitude.
Ella Guru will soon provide some sort of manifesto at this page in order to make us look all nice and neat for those who care to stop by. In it we might say some stuff about what we're doing, or what we want to do, or maybe we'll share some of our thoughts on the contemporary Trondheim-scene, who knows what we'll do, noone knows where the monkey goes they say up north, or maybe it was me who said it last time I was up north, I don't know, it doesn't really matter, though, we do not wish any quarrel with any northerners, so I guess the best thing to do is to take it all back, wich I do, regrettably, in order not to upset our northern fans, I wouldn't want to do that now would I , no, it's best this way, those people from up north are so fucked up the last thing we'd need is to get that part of the country on our neck, god no, then it's better to pick on the southerners, yeah, Oslo, city of wankers hipsters prostitutes low life scum, something we can all look down on and spit at, something to unite against, north, west, middle, wee! I get all excited here, sort of want to go on, but I won't, as I said, we'll come back to all this later sometime, maybe, If we find it relevant, wich it really isn't, we don't care, we don't mind, we'd rather talk about ourself, but then again we won't, 'cause we're sort of demure and arrogant at the same time, heh, but I'm sure we'll work it out for later, when the real 'about us' text shows up, this is just temporarilly, a pathetic excuse for not leaving this space all void, wich on second thoughts pherhaps wouldn't had been to bad after all, for as the great Samuel Beckett said: 'Every word is like an unnecessary stain on silence and nothingness', ah, how right he was, but then again he wrote an awfull lot of words, the miserable old sod, so I don't know, I guess that's why I keep writing, I guess he felt the same, I don't know, it doesn't matter, maybe we'll get back to it in our big manifesto, soon, I'm sure, all will be allright then, all will be fine, I'm sure...
Until then I just want to say on behalf of us all that we're glad to be here and we're glad you came. Please watch a video, please come to our shows, please love us.

Luke Lukas is back with an album full of that gleeful gloom that made us love him at first sight. His trustworthy 4-tracks and him go their separate ways so he's now presenting 12 perfectly arranged folk songs to us. Luke reveals himself as a kind soul, but like the western movies taught us, a dreadful killer always hides under every placid looking Texan.
"Leaving his strongly lo-fi sound that impressed us the first time, he treasures the recipe, packing in this new plain, delightful work a caring love for vocals, which are worthy of Neutral Milk hotel, with a touch of Chordettes feel."Daniele Dileo - Lab Magazine
