Five guys, in the early 2005, decided to put heart, soul and beliefs in a rock band. Ella Palmer was born. On the same year of birth the band records its debut EP “Monogamy is impossible but everything else is worse” with producer Ricardo Espinha. It was a great boost and it allowed us to book plenty of shows and make a lot of friends/fans. The year 2006 brought some changes and adversities because two members left Ella Palmer and the band was forced to stop for a while to find musicians/friends to replace them. It was hard but we pulled it off! New members brought different points of view and 2007 is the reflection of that - a long search for identity. 2008 arrives, the idea of a debut album gets shape and name “The longest journey”.
“The Longest Journey” was recorded and mixed in the end of 2008 at Blacksheep Studios with producer Makoto Yagyu (If Lucy Fell, Men Eater, Riding Panico) and mastered at RFI by Ed Brooks (Pearl Jam, These Arms are Snakes, Isis).
The new album is out now so Dado, Bruno, Pedro, Bernardo and Luís are ready to show all of Portugal what they’re made of! Watch out 2009!
