Bio:

lip smackin’ gal rappin’ –Pash is a Sydney born, Perth raised glam rap emcee who has now made Melbourne her home. Her love of music and poetry collided when she was nineteen, and it was then that Pash discovered her love for the stage. Since then Pash has performed at many clubs, festivals and community events in and around Sydney, Byron Bay and Melbourne. In 2008 she performed internationally at Hippo United Club in Hanoi, Vietnam, and was well received by the local hip hop community. Pash has also made guest appearances at clubs in New Zealand, and Indonesia. Pash has graced the stage with UK dub music heavyweight The Mad Professor and has recorded tracks with well known Australian music producers such as Fatt Dex and Stereogamous- a Sydney collaborative including Seymour Butts and Aria winning Paul Mac . Pash has performed at high profile events such as Melbourne’s Good Vibrations Festival, Midsummer, and A Day in the life of Joy FM show at the Arts Centre Pash spreads her time between DJ’ing and emcee’ing in Bars and clubs in Melbourne as well as presenting a female music show on one of Melbourne’s favourite community radio stations PBS 106.7fm. 2009 saw Pash hooking up with producer Tom Rouch to record her debut self titled album. Tom and Pash instantly gelled and their contrasting musical backgrounds came together to form a sweet symbiosis of dance floor treats and reflective streams of consciousness. Tom's love of eighties style electro synthesizer sounds serve as a banging backdrop to Pash's personal and provocative lyrics. Sometimes hip hop, sometimes something else altogether… Pash's debut album is about to smack you sweet on the lips, ears and all around. ..   ..
