Emerson and Thoreau

Bio:

We are Emerson & Thoreau.

We play a mix of progressive, modern, and classic rock and roll, and we are ready to take Portland by storm this year! Last year was great: we played Geno's, the Big Easy, the Livermore Falls Apple Pumpkin Festival, Andy's Old Port Pub, Bentley's Saloon, Club Caravan in Massachusetts, a couple of local campgrounds, and probably more than a few places that I can't remember! As good as all that was, we're ready to top it this year.

We took the Winter of '09/'10 off to master a few of our own favorite tunes so that we could be ready to play some cover shows this year and share them with all of you! Well, we're ready, and we're excited! If you're looking for a fun, entertaining, and professional band for your venue or function, well guess what... you've found us!
