Emerson are a five piece band from Warrington whose music has been compared to the likes of Coldplay, The Fray, One Republic and The Script. The band aspire to blend all of their musical influences into one creating their own sound. This is a new and vibrant sound blending meaningful lyrics with catchy melodies and anthemic choruses. ..The group originally began with two members Andrew Gower and Michael Collins who formed an instant song-writing partnership. Drummer Todd Ryan and Bass player Alasdair Ramsay joined in 2007 and have been integral in moving the band forward. Latest addition David Harbottle (Guitarist) joined in 2008 and debuted at Make it Break it 2008, helping to give an extra-dimension to the Emerson sound.
