"We need men who can dream of things that never were." John F. Kennedy
"Creativity is a drug I cannot live without." Cecil B. DeMille
Music
My taste in music is like my taste in books...broad and depending on my mood. One day you might hear my stereo bassing to Lil Wayne or Ludacris and the next moment my stereo is belting out rock tunes like Nirvana. By far, rock is my favorite. I'll always have a fondness for 80s hairnation and classic rock! My favorite band(s) of all time? Metallica, GNR and Posion! Long live rock n'roll!
Movies
I love movies. New movies, old movies. I love to watch movies! But do you really want to know my faves?
Though it is fiction, the images of places are those I may never get to see in real life.
Television
I'm not a huge TV fan. After all, I'd never have time to write if I watched TV after work. I love Smallville...before this season and some shows will occasionally catch my eye (like Deal or No Deal).
Books
I LOOVE books, but I can't get enough of Sandra Brown, who is an inspiration to me. Though I love a lot of different genres, romantic suspense is my favorite...to read and to write.
Heroes
My husband.
"I believe there's a hero in all of us." Aunt May, Spiderman
About me:
Love is a mystery. In real life, there are many barriers to relationships and love, and I enjoy using them in fiction and creating new barriers for my characters to break through. Falling in love, staying in love, building trust, running from danger, recovering from a broken heart, miscommunication, or our own emotional wall...just a few of the things that create barriers in relationships. Love always seems to have some type of mystery to weed through in order to get to the good stuff. I love romance and mystery, so I combined them to create a happily-ever-after for anyone who picks up an Emma Sanders' book.

Who I'd like to meet: James Hetfield, June and Johnny cash if they were still alive (for many reasons), my husband's mother, my favorite authors including Sandra Brown, Nora Roberts and Karen Robards, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Stevie Nicks, Johnny Depp, Jessica Biel, Reese Witherspoon, Oprah Winfrey, my writing friends and those I've met online on my journey.
"Life is a foreign language; all men mispronounce it." Christopher Morley
Because of where my birthday falls, I call myself a Capriquarius and exhibit signs of each. Depending on where you look, I'm one or the other.
"Love is, above all else, the gift of oneself." Jean Anouilh
Thank you for being a friend. I look forward to getting to know you.

Mothers and daughters; what greater love can one find, than the love a mother gives.
I am blessed to have had a truly WONDERFUL mother and grandmother. My memories of growing up are ‘truly special,’ as my mother and I had such a close relationship.
I remember, even as a small child, always looking into my mother’s eyes and seeing unconditional love. I knew if I was in her arms, or just talked to her, all my fears and pain would fade away…like a ‘magical potion’ had erased any hurt the world could give.
I always thought my mother was the ‘most beautiful’ woman I have ‘ever’ known, both inside and out.
My mother was a wonderful artist, and we spent many hours sitting and drawing together, even when I was an adult. We could talk about everything and anything…as we shared in a ‘VERY SPECIAL BOND,’ as understood one another.
The words of wisdom she imparted have remained with me to this day. For she ‘always’ advised me what she ‘knew’ to be best, as no one has ever known me as well.
TODAY is a day to celebrate mothers…so if you are far away, or if you had an arguments, don’t let that keep you from doing something ‘special’ for her, as the time you have with her is short…and you may never get another opportunity to tell her, “HOW MUCH YOU LOVE HER!”
My mother passed away 23 years ago…and I wish today, I could tell her just HOW MUCH LOVE I will ALWAYS hold in my heart for her….
