an adventure, through all the pain, discomfort and bliss of life, dragging yourself to a practice space to scream and cut through yourself. our friend oli has just joined the band (playing bass) so there are now three of us, drums, bass, guitar and vocals. we haven't played a great deal of shows but we want to play more shows, tour and record more. that first 7" will see the light of day soonish, with help from superfi, tadpole and opiate records maybe. eek the cat x
We’ve got a new venue for it – The Hope – BLAM in the centre of town. Still free.
Hope you can make it, this one’s going to be intense and a whole lot of fun.
Brighton’s Autumn Chorus are a thing of wonder to behold. Huge beautiful tunes that shimmer along their course across the most mind expanding terrain. Plus, their drummer drums for Diagonal too - BLAM! (www. myspace. com/autumnchorus)
London’s Kontakte draw from all sides of the sonic spectrum fusing together deep passions for Post - Drone - Space and Krautrock. The bands love for distorted beats, transience and star-scraping melodies informs them on their quest to create music of depth, space and intensity (www. myspace. com/kontakteuk)
THEN to headline, Brighton’s raring-ist hariest improv thrill-ride - Passiondale - relentless rising groovescapeness packed with uncomfortable samples, bleeping toms, shimmering guitar work and distorted howling. (no MySpaces for them, so you’ll just have to come and see for yourself!)
In between and after, until late late DJ’s Meatbreak and Fokka Wolfe will be playing new and exciting tunes from these kinds of outfits>>>

HI, all my friends are talking about a delicious new snack called "Agony bar". Apparently you get one free with each purchase of "End the Agony sexxxy t-shirt" - where do I send the cheque?
This is the second 7" from Burnt Cross, again limited to just 200 copies. "Arms Trade,Death Trade" is a angry rant about the DSEI arms fair in london, selling weapons of torture and war as if its no big deal, and how we are treated when we protest against this shit. The B-side includes "Hate of the Holy", attacking religious zealots who carry out mass murder in the name of God, followed by "Smash the Labs", a dedication to the A.L.F. This 7" is available for £3.50 post paid from Tadpole Records.
cheque: darren bourne, 6 gardner street, brighton, BN1 1UP, UK.
1st 7" still hot, £3.50 again, or get both for £6.50.
also Burning times 7" and constant state of terror 7"... very soon the End the Agony 7" and then the Jettatura 12" or LP... busy, busy, busy.....

BURNT CROSS – “Freedom of Speech” 7” (Tadpole) Two track seven-inch from this enigmatic South-East duo. Their simplistic Punk is indignant, compelling and has its roots firmly in the early Eighties Anarcho scene. The title song is an attack on our ever dwindling civil liberties, and on the flipside “(S)Mother Earth” laments the slow death of the planet. Angry Music for Fucked Up times. Ltd to only 200 copies, good luck finding a copy… www.myspace.com/tadpolerecords
TOTÄLICKERS / HOLOCAUST IN YOUR HEAD Split EP - 3.5€ Another release from these two tireless Barcelona punk bands. Totalickers offer us 4 tracks aggressive d-beat punk highly influenced by 80’s swedish punk and Discharge. Holocaust In Your Head deliver 5 songs of relentless and manic r’n’r hardcore less crust that their debut LP but crazier and faster. Watch out for their split LP with Motorbreath to be released by TRABUC.!!
..
INSOMNIO "No Escape" LP - 8€ Debut release of this young band from Zaragoza, and what a debut! 10 hardcore punk-rock songs (9 own songs plus a The Stooges cover) about teenage frustration and hopeless desperation. The influences from Adolescents, Reagan Youth, 7 Seconds or even the “less cheesy” Descendents are more than obvious. There’s already an EP planned on No Way Records from the US.
