HISTORY:
ENEMY SOIL was a grindcore band from Virginia started in 1991 by Richard Johnson (guitar and vocals) Vaughn (vocals) and Mason (bass) along with a Drum Machine. There influences were mainly NAPALM DEATH and TERRORIZER along with other original grindcore bands. They put out the CASUALTIES OF PROGRESS 7" on Relapse Records in 1994. After that 0they had many different changes in lineup until they broke up in 2000. Since they broek up other bands with ex Enemy Soil members have formed, here are a few below, if you have any information on any others please let me know!

THE INDEX: this basically sounds like ENEMY SOIL with a female singer. There are some thrash type riffs mixed in with the grind riffs too. Some of the parts sound like Neurosis but is still brutal. All together, they were a great and interesting band.They did a split 7 inchwith UNHOLY GRAVE and one LP which is very hard to find now - i got mine off Ebay awhile ago (on red vinyl). There lyrics are interestng too, and were not political like Enemy Soil. I think they had other releases as well, if you know please let me know. The lineup on the LP i have is Elysa (vocals), Mason (bass), Mark (guitar), Richard (guitar) and Jake (drums).
DRUGS OF FAITH: This is Richards new band - its not as grindcore as ENEMY SOIL, but its good and heavey still! And as usual Richards vocals are sick! They have a new minilp out which I haven't heard yet but the new songs on their Myspace page are excellent! The lineup is Richard Johnson (guitar and vocals), Shane (drum), and Taryn (bass)
PIG DESTROYER: Brian Harvey and Jr Hayes came from ENEMY SOIL originally and joined with Scott Hull to create P.D. - the best grindcore band in the world today hands down There lineup is Jr Hayes (vocals), Brian Harvey (Drums) and Scott Hull (guitar)
EXPLODING METH LAB: This is Mason and Vaughn from ENEMY SOILs noizecore band and its very bizarre. If Anal Cunt recorded with Merzbow this would probably be there sound. The band is Vaughn, Mason, and Jake but i have no idea who does what but its all headcrushing Noize
BLOWER: This was Richard Johnson, Mason and Jr Hayes from E.S. doing Casualties Of Progress style Drummachine grind. It is excellent grindcore except for one strange noise song but I dont like the vocals as much as I do on Enemy Soil records. There only release is a split CD with WADGE on Regurgitated Semen Records. They do a brutal NAPALM cover and everything else is full on crazy blasting. I dont think they put out anything after this that I know about. The WADGE songs are excellent too,
AGORAPHOBIC NOSEBLEED! Last but not least Richard Johnson joined Agorophobic Nosebleed and does vocals on most of their releases. Of course you probably allready know all this.....
