    ENGRAINED’s roots lasting back to the early 90ies. 1992 the band released their first 6-track CD under the title “Capricious”. Over the years this release was followed by several smaller studio outputs and loads of sampler appearances. The four piece started as a Hardcore band but today the music could be described as a mix of Punk and filthy Rock n Roll. ENGRAINED played live shows all over Germany and several other European countries. They shared stages with bands like Gluecifer, US Bombs, The Dickies, Beatsteaks and many more. The first output on Steamhammer / SPV was a track for the “25 & Alive” anniversary compilation in 2009 where bands like Rose Tattoo, DIO, Sodom, Nashville Pussy, Saxon, UFO and many other well known artists were included.Right after this release the 5-track EP “Anger, Roots and Rock n Roll” was recorded at the renowned Horus Sound Studio in Hanover, which was well received by the media and the fans. The first longplayer of the band, called “Deep Rooted”, will hit the streets in Europe November 22nd. The release date for USA and Canada is February 8th. Recording, mix and mastering was done by Tommy Newton who is known for his excellent work with bands like Helloween, Guano Apes, Terry Hoax, UFO and many others. ENGRAINED developed their sound on the new album with 13 ferocious, fluid, hard driving songs. Honest Rock n Roll with a good shot of Punk Rock in, melodic solo parts but all the time straight forward. In December 2010 ENGRAINED will support UKs Punk Rock veterans Peter and The Test Tube Babies on their Tour through Germany.
