Ephedrix are Jochem Peeters and Joris Marckx living in Gent & Berchem, Belgium.
Since many years now they are one of the icons of the Belgian psychedelic trance scene. Psytrance with uplifting melodies, groovy percussion, crystal clear bass lines and a pumping sound. Their unique style was quickly picked up by party promoters around the world.
In 2005 they joined with Belgian label Dacru records. After various releases in compilations the debut full album was out in April 2008. The music was an instant success and even picked up by people as Christopher Lawrence and John 00 Fleming.
After the summer of 2009 Ephedrix will release a second full album, a remix special with involvement of some of the nicest names of the full on world. Silicon Sound, DNA, Lamat, Protoculture, Alternative Control, Electro Sun, Aquila, Chronos, … to name a few. Of course this album will be previewed during their energetic live acts at the different European summer festivals.
