Era Nova is a French heavy metal band formed in Nantes, in 2002. Successively called Road to Pacifica (2002), Storma (2003), Alcyon (2004), and Era Nova (2005), the band, for most of its existence, has consisted of vocalist Andréas Martin, lead & rhythm guitarist Christophe Buys, bassist Benjamin Cointreau, keyboard player Pierre Chauty, and drummer Emmanuel Colombier.
In 2005, Era Nova released the Sin Eater demo.
The band has recorded its first album at the Drudenhaus Studio (Ultra Vomit, Anorexia Nervosa, GTI, etc)!
The First album " Children Of Alcyone " will be available in the first quarter 2010 with Thundering Records / Pervade Productions.
