Greetings. I am a multipercussionist (drum set, cymbals and percussion),vocalist and composer. I love music. I thank the Creator for the chance to offer and share the love of music and sound given to me. I play straight ahead music. Some people call it jazz, bebop or whatever. I play that which comes from my heart. Straight ahead is playing honestly in the moment. Straight ahead music is any and everything at anytime being played through you. I've had some wonderful experiences in music on this planet. It is an honor to share the bandstand, rehearsal, studio and a conversation or meal with heroes, peers, friends and family.
Thank you to:

Dead Poet would like to present a new song titled “Losing to Win” feat. “Q” that will be on the groups upcoming EP “In Loving Memory”. The track is broken into three distinctive perspectives over a consistent topic in which one is from a story perspective, one from third person, and another from personal experience. Sacrificing and going the extra mile to the top is what the title stands for. The chorus is voiced by female vocalist “Q” and musical production is by way of producer The 17th Dimension. Listen to it, let it melt in and then play it again if you feel the need. Also feel free to drop any comments, feedback, constructive criticism or anything you feel. The finalized EP will be coming soon and we would like to once again thank everyone for the support. Check back soon for news and updates.
As of 3 years ago New Orleans was my home. I was abruptly uprooted as a result of Hurricane Katrina. So you can only imagine how heavy my heart feels this weekend watching the city preparing for the possibility of being hit by a similar sized storm. Yet I am filled with gratitude as I know that I am equipped with the ability to help those that are going to need assistance as a result of the storm. No matter where this storm hits, those there are going to need help. I am proudly announcing that I am coordinating concerts/seminars around the United States to benefit victims in need. This is resulting from my recently published book (The Remains of Hurricane Katrina), and my dream of one day being able to help victims of all types. The first of these events is being planned in New Mexico to benefit their domestic violence victims. I am asking all singers, bands and anyone that can help with these events to contact me as soon as possible. We need all the participation and help that we can acquire. The events are going to have to occur as soon as possible. Please refer to my site for further information or contact me as soon as possible, no matter who you are, if you want to help. It is true, only good results from helping others. It makes dreams come true. Sandra Speer International Marketing Consultant/Promoter Author-The Remains of Hurricane Katrina 954.718. 0733
