ARE YOU A SONG WRITTER? VOCALIST? DO YOU PLAY GUITAR, PIANO? ERIC IS LOOKING FOR PEOPLE TO COLABORATE WITH MUSICALLY. "I want to find people that I can write, and generally just jam with. I also want to find a female vocalist to write songs and record with. I have been dying to do a duet for a while now!" -e
"If you guys out there ever have any comments, requests, or any ideas what-so-ever; please don't hesitate to give a shout out. Message or e-mail me so I can hear and mabey carry out your advice/suggestions." Please send all e-mails to: epmuae@yahoo.com if you do not have a myspace url. Thank you.
Eric's got (4-5) more tracks to get layed down in the studio to complete his debut 'Rock' effort entitled: "GENOCIDE" He is set to record them in the next (3-4) weeks. Though for this album, Eric has (3) more songs to write. The only music that will be released before the drop of 'GENOCIDE' (which is subject to change) will include Eric, his guitar... ...and that's it! COMPLETELY LIVE... ..COMPLETELY UNPLUGGED! "I am looking forward to hearing what these tunes sound like with all the music put in however, doing them alone, with just my guitar is cool too." But, some of the songs on 'GENOCIDE' need & deserve to have the "full band" sort of power behind them; not just me and the guitar ya' know?"
One of the new tracks entitled "God of Hollow" is already hitting home with the select few who have heard it. The (2) two other songs that were just recorded, "If You Can" & "The Reason" gaining momentum quickly. "I guess all you can do is write the best song you can, from the worst or best of your life, then hope like hell that you've created something people can connect to." -e
Eric is a (27) twenty-seven year old from Orlando, Fl. He has been singing since the very early age of 7 but, did not pick up the guitar until some time later, in middle school, (age 14). He has played live shows from Nashville to Sacramento, Ca. All over the United States since the age of (18) eight-teen.
As well as opening for such great artists as: Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts, Blues Traveler, Chris Cagle, Chad Brock, Candle-Box, Sons of the Desert, Daryle Singletary, Pillar, Rhett Akins, & Joe Nichols; Eric had received some exposure winning for Orlando's "Nashville Star" and going on to place in the top 12 nationally! However the timing just was not right to afford him a Record Contract. In light of this & spending many hours looking for an area of music as a whole that was his, and his alone; Eric (almost three years ago now) on a whim wrote a 'Rock' song called "Flatline." "That song took off! Not to mention performing the song was so great! I could literally dump every ounce of hate, joy, fear, pain, sorrow, weakness, strenth, etc. into every time I played that song. And people can feel that! People can feel the power & emotion that go into a good performance, with a great song." -e
So, considering that... ...It has been under MUCH debate here lately, so for those of you that have been e-mailing your questions in: Yes! I am now actively pursuing a career in Rock Music! ;) Keep sending in your comments & questions. We try to get to them all, but due to the sheer number of things currently ongoing, Eric is very busy. "Thank you all for the love & support over the last few months! It has been incredible to see how many people out there listen to my music. I am eternally greatful to all of you!" ..ep
Bro, Your songs are off the charts and your vocal skills are Rocking...No doubt! I am so feeling Flatline you just need a band to back it up....I can hear it in my head and it sounds sick...Cheers
