Singing piano player / songwriter Eric Ranzoni is a professional musician. Born in London in 1969, he spent the majority of his life in Italy, between Rome and Milan, so he's both British and Italian. Since coming back to London in 2003, he's divided his talent in two different musical branches : the Blues (and Roots music in general) with his ensemble of many brilliant musicians, and "piano bar" gigs by himself, where he blends the evergreen with more unusual choices, strictly without backing tracks.
Solo or accompanied, he's played regularly in many top venues in and about London, with frequent stints abroad. In great demand as Blues pianist with many top Blues bands, a recent highlight was playing the piano with Big Joe Louis and West Weston accompanying Mud Morganfield, the eldest son of Muddy Waters, in his UK tour. He's a member of the Musicians Union.
