Created in the spring of 2006, the Norwegian up-and-coming electro-rock band ESSENCE OF MIND proved they could maintain the excellence we have come to expect from Norwegian electronics in the likes of APOPTYGMA BERZERK and ICON OF COIL.
After their succesfull debut album «Insurrection», their straight in your face attitude and high-energy music rapidly boosted their ascension to the top and was just the start..........
As already revealed by the recent “Watch Out” EPCD released for the occasion of the band’s European tour together with ZEROMANCER, ESSENCE OF MIND continue their sonic quest for the ultimate balance between edgy and powerful songs while putting a strong focus on fresh electronic melodies and sing-along choruses.

let me just say that i'm an EOM junkie, both insurrection and watch out... lately i had been listening to a lot of other bands, i think i overdosed on EOM a couple of months ago when EOM was ruling my playlist haha. so i wasnt really listening heavily to it lately... so anyway... I wasnt as excited about ur new CD as i would have been when u were on the top of my playlist.. but after hearing to the material, you guys have once again shot to the top of my playlist... the chorus synth on Out of Sight is fucking amazing man, i love the new vibe!!! it's very positive, thats why i like EOM
