Esthetic Education is a band based in Kiev.
The group formed in 2004 after Dima Shurov and Iura Khustochka left Ukraine’s most successful rock band Okean Elzi and decided to form Esthetic Education with Louis Franck. The band is revered in Ukraine as a ground breaking live act and a leader of the local independent music scene.

Voted best live concert of 2008 in Ukraine by Djem FM for Artefakt tour (a half art installation, half rock concert multi-media extravaganza). La Scene Paris (2004), Dublin Castle London (2004), the Spitz, London (2004) the song Horrible Disaster was included in the limited edition CD, Spitz Live2.
Soundtracks:
Several tracks from the album “Face Reading” featured in the film “Happy People” directed by Alexander Shapiro (2005). The track “Unbelievable” was used as theme song of the feature film “Orange Love” directed by Alan Badoyev with Aleksei Chadov in the lead role (2007). The song Machine is featured in the film “A bride at any price” directed by Dmitry Grachev with Pavel Volya in the lead role (2009).
TV/Radio/Press:
Video clip “Machine” (2005) was number one on the hit parade of Ukraine’s leading Music Channel M1, and was number 1 for three weeks in a row on radio Maximum, Russia.
Live shooting for Russia’s third National channel TVC in Studio 5 at Mosfilm studios, New Year TV show for Ukraine’s National Television Channel 1+1, live performance for Novi Kanal during the morning news program, Prosto Radio “Golden Best” program, Radio Maximum’s morning show.
