Canadian Idol winner Eva Avila is a former winner of the province-wide singing competition Jeune Diva du Quebec and first sang in public at the age of three. Eva was born in Ottawa and hails from Hull, PQ. She speaks English, French and Spanish and is proud of her Quebec/Peruvian roots (her mother is French-Canadian while her father is Peruvian). Eva also loves to support her hometown hockey team Les Olympiques de Hull.
Meant To Fly is written by Chantal Kreviazuk with Raine Maida and Gaby Moreno. Kreviazuk is one of the most successful contemporary pop songwriters, penning hits for the likes of Avril Lavigne, Kelly Clarkson and Gwen Stefani.
