The Concept

With our planet getting closer to a state of crisis, and the human spirit being dampened by hedonism and consumerism, it is now vital that change and options for change are introduced rapidly. For this to happen, the voices of those who offer constructive solutions and offers for change have to be heard louder and clearer than ever before and be introduced in all aspects of society. Events4Change sets out to support this progressive movement by providing Non Governmental Organizations, Charities, and Ethical Businesses, with new, creative ways to reach young people in particular, through the use of multimedia, installations, artistic performances, and the production of both large and small scale musical and cultural events. By doing this we aim to further the presence of an educational dimension in the world of arts and entertainment and harness the power of their collective influence to promote positive, progressive thinking especially in the young part of society that contains the hope for the future of our planet.

Events4Change was born out of an alliance between various forward thinking organisations with expertise ranging across all aspects of sustainable / educational events production and promotion, arts and artists management, sustainable energy, technology, and development, fundraising and networking within the charity and not-for-profit sector.

Our team is the perfect production organisation to tackle any event solution, whilst actively fundraising for a spread of worthwhile causes. Our music programmes over the past years have held host to some of the industry's biggest and up and coming names. Attracting artists from all sectors of both live and electronic music, and welcoming along new generation performances such as Audio Visual acts, and political activist performers, we have the combined skills and track record to successfully attract large audiences and sponsors.

Our experience speaks for itself; having managed stages around Europe, programmed entertainment for entire festivals, hosted our own club nights and supported many external promoters/events by enhancing their production with our cutting edge video and decor teams. This has enabled us to have the knowledge, contacts and experience to excell in any event situation.

We wish to combine all these skills to raise awareness and money for charity across the UK and beyond. Music / Arts / Performances

With years of experience of working within the music and arts industries E4C has an extensive range of contacts and can therefore offer a wide variety of shows ranging across different musical genres and scenes. Depending on requirements and budgets available, we can provide genre specific programs / themes or an eclectic journey through both electronic and live music performances alongside other creative elements such as theater, dance, poetry, short films, circus / cabaret type performances, short films and art expositions.

NGO/Charity Support & Awareness Area

Supporting NGO's and Charities by means of promoting them and increasing public awareness about the good work they do is the main focus of E4C. We set out to achieve this by hosting events where they will have a strong visibility and presence, and helping them spread their message in more fun and creative ways that we feel work more effectively with our audience. At the events, alongside the music areas we also offer awareness spaces were the NGOs/Charities can engage in campaigning and fundraising activities as well as hosting Talks, Presentations, Debates, screenings of Films/Documentaries, and practical workshops to educate our audience and hopefully inspire them to make a positive change in their lives.

Events4change accreditation

One of the aims of events4change is to empower individuals and organizations to use events as a means to support the work of NGO's and charities, and to guide them into making their events more sustainable and green. Events that will pass certain requirements will be granted the E4C accreditation and will benefit from the support of our promotional network.

With our own database of in excess of 100,000 email addresses and our huge web presence through myspace / face book / websites and forums we can even offer smaller events a huge promotional opportunity. Together with the mailing lists of participating charities and campaigns, we have a massive opportunity for e- mail / viral / promotional campaigns to ensure your event is a success.

The Synergy Project was a London based indoor festival that has already very successfully developed the concept of ‘Conscious Partying’ combining ethical production standards and educational messages to the club night experience by providing NGO’s and charities with a new campaigning platform, wile also assisting them in finding new creative ways to convey their messages and grab the attention of the modern cosmopolitan clubber.

In its 5 years of existence The Synergy Project has collaborated with an extensive network or organizations from both the entertainment and charity/activist networks and with an impressive track record of events has accumulated a wide range of expertises in the field of sustainable / educative events production in all its aspects, from creative planning, to technical production, effective marketing, and promotion.

The Pixel Addicts (www.pixeladdicts.co.uk)

World renowned visual production artists Pixel Addicts (and VJ collective Inside-us-all) have the capacity to add an overwhelming visual impact to any space, no matter how big, small or droll. Their creative and compassionate use of pioneering technology and combined custom content has enabled them to quickly gain an international reputation and progress through the multimedia industry.

Their unique software applications, layout matrix server and plug-ins have the capacity to control multiple HD outputs, control DMX lighting effects, output custom free-frame effects onto specific surfaces. The team also works full time / freelance on a wide range of industry projects including: Resolume VJ Application, Event4Change, Pixel Addicts, Synergy Project, PSL & Greenpeace Events.

Their experience at working in fringe Festivals, club nights, concerts and corporate events throughout Europe has seen them produce some of the most prolific multi media installations to date.

Recently voted for the second year in a row Number 1 VJ Crew in the World (DJ Magazine / Nov 2007,2008), Inside-us-all have secured residencies at the UK’s leading arts and cultural events alongside most festivals and are set to develop and hone their creative passion in 2008 with some breath-taking new projects.

Winners of the National Outdoor Events Association Green Award 2008! Firefly is a Brighton based Community Interest Company providing renewable energy based power solutions and high end technical production services to the outdoor event market.

They are the creators of the ‘Orion’ solar powered generator, the UK’s first mobile solar generator of its type offering up to 15Kw of mains voltage power.

The Orion system is used to power a vast variety of equipment including PA systems, screens, lighting, computers and will power everything from juicers to power tools. Orion is powered entirely by the sun and its battery backup system means it will keep running through the night.

The system is silent running and is safer than petrol or diesel generators as there is no combustion process.

Binglybongly is a home of positive, energising music of many genres. It was established in 2001 to promote the physical, emotional and mental benefits of uplifting music. The original idea was to be a music compilation label, but somehow they ended up doing events instead!

Now Binglybongly design and build audio-visual environments and programme positive, energising music for unique events. Since they began, the team has excelled at everything they've done, from a regular Sunday chillout at the Spitz in Spitalfields market, to hosting rooms at the Synergy Project, an all-night festival in London's largest indoor venue, seOne London.

Binglybongly DJ at venues of all sizes, decorate interiors and provide music, lighting and projections for corporate and community events, networking meetings, and private parties. They've also planned and built live stages at several London outdoor festivals.
