Execution ENGLISH biography .... EXECUTION is an ATMOSPHERIC-DEATH-METAL band from Limoges ( France ) created in November 1989 by : Bruno BLANCHER : Lead Vocals, Xavier BLANCHER : Bass Guitar, David “Alf ” RIVET : Guitar, Christian MARIE : Drums and Hervé JUDE : Guitar . After some concerts all around Limoges.( France ), the band brought out its first demo tape ( 9 titles ) recorded in a practicing room . October 1990 : Hervé (Guitar) quits the band. He was replaced by David “Abigail ” GARAT (Guitar). After the distribution of more than 290 “EXECUTION DEMO TAPE” ‘s in ..France.. and all over the ..Europe.., this first demo tape is no longer available . 1991 : Recording of the demo tape “U.D.M” ( Under Developped Mentality ). More than 450 tapes were distributed all over the world especially to the zines, radios, associations, bands and a few fans. This “U.D.M” tape is no longer available . The band appeared in a documentary “CITÉ CITÉE” filmed by FR3 ( French TV ) – title “U.M.D” – on TV in December 1991 ( 7 th ) and the same day, EXECUTION returned to MEDIA-STUDIO ( Limoges-France ) to record with Alain MIRAUCOURT and Frentz DORE a self produced LP of 16 tracks . April 1992 : The LP ”EXECUTION” is out ( 1000 copies,12 titles ). Ted VREMAN from the Dutch label “CYBER MUSIC” contacts the band and it appears on the CD compilation “APPOINTMENT WITH FEAR VOL II” with 15 other bands : MANGLED (..Holland..), TEMPERANCE (Sweden), NECROLOGY (Holland), ACRIMONIOUS (Germany), EXOTO (Belgium), NEPHRITE (Norway), etc… January 1993 : Patrick CHASSAGNE, Drumer from ENDLESS FALL, helps the band until the arrival of Vincent MARTIN (Drums) in May 1993 . December 1993 : The band recorded a title “BLOODTHIRTINESS ” in MEDIA-STUDIO by Alain MIRAUCOURT of 16 tracks. This title appears on a CD compilation under the label of Lille ( France ) M.A.B.R.N.R Records . January 1994 : The band recorded a second title “BLOODYUNIVERSE ”( MEDIA-STUDIO here again ) in order to make a promo tape of 2 titles . March 1994 : The promo tape “SCHIZOPHRENIC PRESENCE ” and the CD compilation “IS THERE A DOC IN THE AUDIENCE ??? ” ( M.A.B.R.N.R Records ) are out. The CD is a compilation with 11 French bands in which we can find : EXECUTION, OXYRIUS, TOTEM PHASE, ASSHOLE, INSEMINOID, ENDLESS TEARS, D.A.B, MISANTHROPE, THRESHOLD, EXTRAVAGANZA and EXQUISITE CORPSE. December 1994 : The band recorded a new title “OCEAN ( Out of control ) ” in MEDIA-STUDIO by Alain MIRAUCOURT, for Stéphane GIRARD from the label SEMETERY Records ( W.M.D-France ) in order to appear on a CD compilation “BRUTALE GENERATION ”. April 1995 : Arrival of Sophie MAHAUT, Keyboards and Vocals. The band aims at complicating its music and also adding many dark and atmospheric melodies . June 1995 : BRUTALE GENERATION compilation is out ( 2 CD’s ), 32 French bands : EXECUTION, LOUDBLAST, AGRESSOR, MISANTHROPE, CRUSHER, MASSACRA, HOAX, MERCYLESS, NO RETURN, TOTEM PHASE, ACTING OUT, M.PHERAL, PROTON BURST, RESPECT, ALEISTER, CORRUPTION, FORLORN EMOTION, EXQUISITE CORPSE, L’AMORT, STEAMS, SWAMP, NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE, DRITCH, X RATED X, PORTOBELLO BONES, DATURA, DISTANT WINTER, THE MISSING LINK, WIDE OPEN CAGE,KILL THE THRILL, FISHERMAN and GANXISTAS . December 1995 : The CD compilation “INITIATION” (LARD Records-Japan)is out, 12 bands : EXECUTION (France), MISANTHROPE (France), NIGHTFALL (Greece), NARCOTIC GREED (Japan), DISGRACE (Finland), HUMAN WASTE (Spain), AZAGTHOTH (Japan), ANACONDA (Germany), DISSONANCE (Lithuania), GOGMAGOG (U.S.A), GANG (France) and BLASDEAD (Japan) April 1996 : Out of a new version of “SCHIZOPHRENIC PRESENCE” promo tape with three new titles : “OCEAN ( Out of control )”, “STOP DREAMING ”(live) and “LOST IN NOTHINGNESS ” (live) December 1996 : EXECUTION records a concept album of 17 titles “ETERNAL DREAMS” ( 66 min ) in MEDIA-STUDIO by Alain MIRAUCOURT. It is mixed in January 1997 . August 1997 : Departure of Vincent MARTIN (Drums) , replaced by Romain JANVIER (Drums) . November 1997 : Departure of David “Alf ” RIVET (Guitar), replaced by Willy ROUGET (Guitar) . February 1997 : Recording of 2 titles “LOST IN NOTHINGNESS ” ( new version ) and “MY SUFFERINGS ”, in 24 tracks, in new MEDIA-STUDIO by Alain MIRAUCOURT, for the ROKTEK compilation. March 1999 : The CD “ETERNAL DREAMS” is out . April 1999 : Out of the ROKTEK compilation “POUR QUE VIVE LE ROCK” . May 1999 : The title “LOST IN NOTHINGNESS ”( album version ) appears on the METALLIAN’s sampler n°15 (40 000 copies). April 2003 : Departure of Willy ROUGET (Guitar), replaced by CISCO (Guitar) . August 2005 : Departure of Cisco, replaced by Frank of UNBORN FIRE. August 2006 : Departures of Frank and Sebastien PAPOT. February 2007 : 6 months after the band find a drummer with the arrival of Nicolas Le MOAL (Ex : OVERSTEP). January 2008: Nicolas Le MOAL leaves the France to live in England , EXECUTION seeks a drummer June 2009 : Arrival of Mike (drums) . July 2009 : Arrival of Tony to the second guitar.

EXECUTION est un groupe de DEATH-METAL ATMOSPHERIQUE de Limoges formé en Novembre 1989 par :Bruno BLANCHER : Chant, Xavier BLANCHER : Basse, David «Alf» RIVET : Guitare, Hervé JUDE : Guitare et Christian MARIE : Batterie.
Après quelques concerts dans la région, le groupe sort sa 1ère démo «EXECUTION» (9 titres).
L’enregistrement se fait en salle de répétition.
Octobre 1990 : Hervé quitte le groupe pour laisser la place à David «Abigail» GARAT.
Après plus de 290 K7 «EXECUTION DEMO 1990» distribuée en France et en Europe, cette première démo est épuisée.
1991 : Enregistrement de la démo «M.S.D» qui sera distribuée à plus de 450 exemplaires dans le monde(surtout aux Fanzines, Radios, Associations, Groupes et quelques fans), cette K7 n’est plus disponible.
Le groupe apparaît dans un film reportage «CITE CITEE» avec le titre «M.S.D» (filmé par FR3), diffusé le 07/12/91 sur FR3. Ce même jour, EXECUTION rentre au MEDIA-STUDIO LIMOGES pour enregistrer en 16 pistes (par Alain MIRAUCOURT assisté de Frantz DORE) leur 1er album auto-produit.
Avril 1992 : Sortie de l’album «EXECUTION» (33T,12 titres, 1000 copies).
Contacté par Ted VREMAN du label hollandais «CYBER MUSIC» le groupe apparaît sur une compilation CD «APPOINTMENT WITH FEAR VOL 2», 15 groupes dont : TEMPERANCE (Suède)EXOTO (Bel), etc…

Janvier 1993 : Patrick CHASSAGNE, batteur d’ENDLESS FALL, dépanne le groupe jusqu’à l’arrivée de Vincent MARTIN en Mai 1993.
Décembre 1993 : Le groupe enregistre un titre «BLOODTHIRSTINESS» (au MEDIA-STUDIO LIMOGES par Alain MIRAUCOURT) pour la compilation CD du label lillois M.A.B.R.N.R Records.
Janvier 1994 : Le groupe enregistre «BLOODYUNIVERSE» (au MEDIA-STUDIO LIMOGES par Alain MIRAUCOURT) afin de réaliser une promo tape 2 titres. Mars 1994 : Sortie de la promo tape «SCHIZOPHRENIC PRESENCE» et de la compilation CD «IS THERE A DOC IN THE AUDIENCE ? » (M.A.B.R.N.R Records) 11 groupes français (EXECUTION, OXYRIUS, TOTEM PHASE, ASSHOLE, MISANTHROPE ...).

Décembre 1994 : Le groupe enregistre un titre inédit «OCEAN (Out of control)»(au MEDIA-STUDIO LIMOGES par Alain MIRAUCOURT), pour Stéphane GIRARD du label SEMETERY RECORDS (W.M.D), afin d’apparaître sur une compilation CD du nom de «BRUTALE GENERATION».
Avril 1995 : Arrivée de Sophie MAHAUT aux claviers, le groupe désire complexifier sa musique, mais aussi l’enrichir d’ambiances sombres et atmophériques.
Juin 1995 : Sortie de la compilation (2 CD’s) «BRUTALE GENERATION» (SEMETERY RECORDS-W.M.D) 32 groupes français (LOUDBLAST, AGRESSOR, MISANTHROPE, CRUSHER, MASSACRA, HOAX, MERCYLESS, NO RETURN, TOTEM PHASE, M.PHERAL, PROTON BURST, NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE, PORTOBELLO BONES, KILL THE THRILL...).

Décembre 1995 : Sortie de la compilation (3 CD’s box) «SOMETIMES…DEATH IS BETTER» (SHIVER RECORDS-BELGIQUE) 51 groupes, dont : ETERNAL TEARS OF SORROW (Fin), GORGON (Fr), EXHUMATION (Gr), DAWN (All), CASKET (All), SCARVE (Fr), MANGLED (Hol), BESEECH (Suède) etc…

Décembre 1995 : Sortie de la compilation CD “INITIATION” (LARD RECORDS-JAPON) 12 groupes avec MISANTHROPE (Fr), NIGHTFALL (Gr), NARCOTIC GREED (Jap) ...

Avril 1996 : Sortie d’une nouvelle version de la promo tape “SCHIZOPHRENIC PRESENCE” avec 3 titres supplémentaires : “OCEAN (Out of control)”, “STOP DREAMING”(live) et “LOST IN NOTHINGNESS” (live).
Décembre 1996 : EXECUTION enregistre un concept album de 17 titres «ETERNAL DREAMS», d’une durée de 66 minutes (au MEDIA-STUDIO LIMOGES par Alain MIRAUCOURT), le mixage se fait en Janvier 1997.
Août 1997 : Départ de Vincent MARTIN, remplacé par Romain JANVIER. Novembre 1997 : Après 8 ans de loyaux services, Alf désire arrêter la musique, il est remplacé par Willy ROUGET.
Février 1999 : Enregistrement de 2 titres : «MY SUFFERINGS» et «LOST IN NOTHINGNESS»(nouvelle version),en 24 pistes au New MEDIA-STUDIO LIMOGES par Alain MIRAUCOURT en vue de figurer sur la compilation CD régionale de la Roktek.
Mars 1999 : Sortie de l’album «ETERNAL DREAMS» (CD).
Avril 1999 : Sortie de la compilation CD «POUR QUE VIVE LE ROCK» .
Mai 1999 : Le titre «LOST IN NOTHINGNESS» apparaît sur le CD sampler compilation n°15 du magazine METALLIAN (40 000 exemplaires).
Juillet 2001 : Les sorties en CD de la réédition du 1er album «EXECUTION» (de 1992), et l’édition d’un mini CD «VICTIM OF MY THOUGHTS» qui regroupe 5 titres parus sur 4 compilations différentes entre 1994 et 1999 (+ 3 titres bonus cachés), les 5 titres sont :
«OCEAN (Out of control)», »BLOODTHIRSTINESS», »BLOODYUNIVERSE», »MY SUFFERINGS» et «LOST IN NOTHINGNESS»(nouvelle version).
Octobre 2001 : Départ de Romain JANVIER remplacé par Sébastien « Wilheim « PAPOT .
Décembre 2001 : Sortie de la compilation CD « METAL TERRITORY 3 » ( de l’association METAL TERRITORY , Belfort,Fr ) 14 groupes français (KRONOS, INHUMATE, APOPLEXY,DESTINITY ...).

Avril 2003 : Départ de Willy ROUGET , remplacé par Cisco (guitariste de CIPHER).
Août 2005 : Départ de Cisco, remplacé par Frank d’ UNBORN FIRE.
Août 2006 : Départs de Frank et de Sébastien PAPOT.
Février 2007 : Après un break de 6 mois le groupe trouve un batteur avec l’arrivée de Nicolas LE MOAL (Ex:OVERSTEP) .
Janvier 2008 : Nicolas LE MOAL quitte la France et s’installe en Angleterre.
Mai 2009 : Sortie du cd "DEMONIAC 1990-1992" les trois 1eres démos du groupe "EXECUTION" (1990) , "M.S.D" (1991) , "DEPRAVITY" (1992) et 4 titres bonus (live 1997 - 1999).
Juin 2009 : Arrivée de Mike à la batterie (Ex: MONARCHOMAQUE).
Juillet 2009 : Arrivée de Anthony Réméniéras à la guitare.
Octobre 2011 : Arrivée de François "Franz" Leygnac (guitariste du groupe Cipher), pour remplacer le départ de Tony .
