BIO: Ex-Gen is born in Barcelona, formed by three members: Manuel Martí Valls (3D Vision Rec) also known as dj Nanuk, Germán Martínez García ( Aum Project ) and Xavier Baques Rafols ( dj Bakers ). Although they band is only about 2 years old, their members has a long experience in the psy-trance scene.
Nanuk has been playing dj sets for more than 10 years, German Martinez aka Aum Project is one of the most active live acts in Spain and he has been producing electronic music from so far and Xavier, dj Bakers, is an excellent guitarrist player and also a very good experienced dj.
Their sound is defined as hitech or night psytrance, powerful leads, fat basslines and a well-accurated production are some of the reasons why Absolum invites Ex-Gen to join on 3D Vision Recordings in 2008.
His first release was the remix of Take U from Aum Project in the netlabel Evil Records in 2007. Almost one year after, they released their first track in 3D Vision, working together with Absolum, in the Sharp compilation. No too much time later, they released "Intensified frequency" in Dropland Recordings. In 2009 they released some more tracks in labels such as Ultravision Records and AS Rec.
Actually, they are working on new tracks harder and stronger
than ever for their debut album.

Ex-Gen esta compuesto por German Martinez (Aum Project) uno de los lives psy mas reconocidos de españa con multitud de salas y eventos a sus espaldas, Manuel Marti (Nanuk dj)uno de los djs trance con mas experiencia de españa y dj del sello 3D Vision. Y su ultimo componente Xavi Baques (dj Bakers) uno de los djs mas prometedores de la escena, y un excelente guitarrista. Juntos han creado un sonido muy contundente y energetico se podria definir como Hi-tek o night trance.
Por el momento Ex-Gen ha editado una remezcla del tema TAKE-U de Aum Project en el net label Evil Records.
12-08 editan un tema junto a Absolum en el recopilatorio de 3D Vision (SHARP) seleccionado por el mismo Absolum.
12-08 editan en el primer recopilatorio digital del joven sello catalan Dropland Recordings.
02-09 editan un tema en la VA Ace's & Kings de AS Rec (Israel)
