Zespół - nie posiadający jeszcze wtedy swej właściwej nazwy - powstał z inicjatywy dwóch braci Expugnatora (gitara) i Akkera (perkusja) jesienią 2007 roku. Potem dołączył Xanathos (bass) i tak, owa trójka zaczęła pracować nad swym materiałem idąc w kierunku thrash/death metalu. Po długich poszukiwaniach skład bezimiennej wówczas formacji zasilił Hellscreamaross (wokal) - wniósł on nowe pomysły do kapeli, której nadano nazwę Exhalation. W maju 2008 roku zespół zarejestrował materiał pod tytułem „Embodied Filth” w Haunted House Studio w Mysłowicach.
W lipcu 2008 do formacji dołączył drugi gitarzysta Pain.
Rok 2009 to koncerty Exhalation z takimi zespołami jak Witchmaster, Pyorrhoea, Iperyt, Demogorgon, czy Embrional.
Obecnie trwa sesja nagraniowa nowego, tym razem pełnogrającego albumu.

Nameless band was formed by two brothers Expugnator (guitar) and Akker (drums) in autumn 2007. After a while Xanathos (bass) joins the brothers and the band starts to work on it’s material going in the direction of death/thrash metal. A long period of time had passed until Hellscreamaross (vocals) joined the ranks of the band now called Exhalation. In May 2008 Exhalation records a promo material titled „Embodied Filth” at Haunted House Studio in Myslovice.
In July 2008 another member joins Exhalation - Pain (guitar).
The band is actually recording on a long play album.
