With an eclectic musical background that combines everything from folk to hardcore and back again, the exit letter crew brings a unique, yet comfortable rock sound that is all their own.
Heather and Ken both played solo for several years, before forming the band in 1997 (performing for a couple years under the name Stones Thrown). After a move from Maine to Tennessee in 2001, they released their first EP, "sorting the pieces." Their name was changed in the spring of 2003, after recording their new CD, "...and so it goes." They went through many bass players and drummers before finding Beau - a technical wiz who's played in several bands, including the late great AndreaDoria. Variety and change are two words that EXIT LETTER knows well - and there is no time like the present...
No matter your musical tastes, the thoughtful lyrics and intense, melodic sounds Exit Letter serves up will grab your heart or your head, and maybe both.
