One of the novels could very easily be adapted for a screen play. The other is perfect for both as is.
BC Beneke My internet connection here in Chaska kind of sucks, so sorry I haven't been able to get on here much unless it's on my phone which has it's own drawbacks. Wish view more
About me: I am a 35 year old husband and father of two. We've been together through heaven and hell for 11 years, and I'm as in love with her today as I was the first time I saw her.
I am a writer. I have written well over 2500 poems, I've written, and given political speeches, and I've tried stand up comedy a couple of time to various degrees of success (or lack there of). I am currently in the middle of five novels, and I've recently started my first screen play.
Besides my children being born this concert footage is of the greatest moment of my life.
My family, writing, politics, sports, movies, and music, though not in any order are my everything. I've screwed up a lot of things in my life, but I'm a damn good husband, a pretty good father, and I'm a talented writer, or at least that's what I'm told by people who read, and listen to my work. I say listen to because I almost forgot to mention that I've written several songs, and I've been fortunate to have one recorded.
Who I'd like to meet:
Eddie Vedder & Pearl Jam, Barack Obama, Denis Leary, Kevin Garnett, Noam Chomsky, Peter Gammons, Jack Nicholson, Billy-Bob Thorton, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Waits, Magic Johnson, Deidre Holland and Tiffany Mynx, Lawerence Taylor, Kevin Smith, Bruce Willis, Tracii Guns, Traci Lords, John McCain, Leonard Cohen, Stephen King, Clive Barker, Vladimir Guererro, Willie Burton, George Lynch, David Lynch, Tim Burton, Angelina Jolie, Anne Rice, Jack Lambert, Ronnie Lott, Dan Fouts, Dan Marino, Jose Rijo,

I feel exhausted. I've calling everywhere. The hospitals only help if the child's is admitted. Ronald McDonald is for families of a ped. cancer patient. Make-A-Wish only helps with wishes, nothing to do with medical. Kaelan was a Make-A-Wish kid. They didn't know of anyone to refer me to either. It's amazing how much help is out there for kids with cancer but nothing out there for kids with other illnesses, esp. terminal illnesses. Now if Kaelan (15yrs. old) was having his heart transplant then it's different. That hospital "may" be able to help. The hotels helped by giving me a "hospital" rate but it's still not cheap to stay near the hospital. Coming up with "The Kaelan Fund" here on MySpace was the only thing I could think of to help. Sheila A, a poetic friend here on MySpace, has sent out a donation on friday. I have to raise $3000 and I've received 1 donation. I'm very grateful for her generosity but I still need more help. Can you please refer this fundraiser to anyone you know who'd be willing to help? I don't care if it's $5, every penny helps. Let people know this isn't a scam. Please read my blog "The Kaelan Fund". You'll see pics of him.

Poetstock! Never before has this been done, and hopefully it will be successfully repeated after this all over the world, again and again…. Our aim is to bring together poets from all over, who produce all genres of poetry for a night of mingling, poetry, shameless self promotion…. Each poet will have the opportunity to read their work on stage, sell their work (books, cds, paintings, drawings, etc) to those who would like to buy, and mingle with the best poets of our generation. It will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at 9 PM And the owner of STUDIO PARK in Atlanta has been gracious enough to open his doors to us without charging us ANYTHING!!!
You seriously CAN’T miss this~you HAVE to be there! It is the chance of the lifetime, and the bigger we make it, the more attention we poets will get.
Poetry is NOT dead~let’s show the world that it is living and breathing~
***BTW~we are looking for a talented DJ to spin between reads~so if you have what it takes or know someone who does, please email me. ****ALL are welcome! Whether you are a poet, or love poetry, we hope you will all come, tell your friends about it, and your friends’ friends-blog it, bulletin it, email it, scream about it from the rooftops~Whatever it takes!!!
I just want to keep you posted on what's going on this way.
