About me:
Eyes Wild Drag Italian Drag King Troupe, four women in drag playing with Gender experimentation and the infinite masculine/feminine shades, starting from drag kinging experience and getting inspiration by typical drag entertainment. Drag king and Drag Queen are our expressive roots, but we play with the pleasure of reinventing them. We wear typical drag queen camp and perform in playback, also we act different expression ways like pantomime, experimentation of ourselves, playing with lights and shadows explaining our minds and our bodies transformations with lightness, irony but also with perseverance and sensuality. The performances - in any expressive form and discipline - must last exactly one minute and must contain and develop the themes of Gender Bender. The selected jury - currently being chosen - will award a single non-dividable prize of 500 euros to the best performance. The official participation form is to arrive by the 1st september 2009.
