Os Fallacy são actualmente um trio de Metal progressivo, com influências de Jazz e World Music. Nascidos em 1994 da banda de Thrash metal, Lakrau, rapidamente chegaram ao público com concertos por todo o país e Espanha.
Em 1995 fazem as primeiras partes de várias bandas de reconhecimento nacional tais como Thormenthor, Bizarra locomotiva e Moonspell. Do seu portfolio constam 3 trabalhos distintos, Demo95 de sonoridads Trash, Demo96 genéricamente Death metal e o EP2000 Martírios com algumas fusões de Jazz e música popular Portuguesa. A banda está de volta em 2009 com novos temas tendo como convidado Samuel Trindade em programação e virtual drums.
Fallacy is a metal progressive trio with several influences from jazz to world music. Born in 1994 from the trash metal band Lakrau, quickly arrived to the metal fans with live appearences in Portugal and Spain. In 1995 they share the stage with some of the most recognized bands from Portugal such as Thormentohr, Bizarra Locomotiva and Moonspell. From the portfolio they count with 3 different productions, trashy Demo95, death metal Demo96, progressive metal/world EP2000 Martírios, the latter with some samplers of traditional portuguese music from the country side recorded in the 70's by Fernando Lopes Graça and Michel Giacometti. The band is recording and preparing a new EP that will be out probably in the summer.

After the release of “Reflection” in 2007, punk rockers Defying Control are back with a new album, named “Stories Of Hope And Mayhem”, that will be released in January 2009.
The new album promotion started this Sunday at the band’s MySpace with the first single entitled “Leap Of Faith” being released. Through the next weeks until the album release there will be lots of surprises, stay tuned to the band's myspace.

Depois de terem editado em 2007 o seu álbum de estreia Reflection, os Punk Rockers Defying Control estão de volta com um novo álbum, intitulado Stories of Hope and Mayhem, a ser editado em Janeiro de 2009.
Como primeiro avanço, está online desde domingo no myspace da banda o primeiro single intitulado Leap of Faith. Durante as próximas semanas até ao lançamento do álbum haverá muitas surpresas no Space da banda.
