Fallenintoashes was formed by five great friends back in the Fall of 1999. Because music had become a huge part of their lives, they felt compelled to express their feelings and emotions though their music. Their deeply-felt, brutally honest music and lyrics are a combination of energetic metal combined with melodic hardcore music that quickly garnered them recognition from music critics and fans alike.
In 2002, the band released their first album, an EP, "Solely Dreaming the Reconstruction of a Forgotten Revolution" (Burning Season Records, Austria), which received glowing reviews from critics in Europe and from as far away as Asia. Their debut record opened doors for live performances in clubs and at festivals across Europe, including a tour with the Swedish band Dark Day Gungeon. The band performed for an appreciative crowd of eight hundred people at one festival in Luzern.
The band's 2003 album, "Damned Are We," (Deadbutcher Records, Slovakia) was followed by another European tour with Leeds-based band D-rail. Their next album, "Laments for Lost Victories," was released the following year. Out of this album came the band's first music video of their song "Beauty" which was broadcast on Hungarian television and exposed Fallenintoashes to a much wider audience.
More live shows soon followed in Hungary; mainly in Budapest, as well as a number of festivals across Europe (Wanted, Volt and Sziget). The band's most unforgettable show happened in 2005 at an Austrian festival in Gleisdorfban, where they performed for a crowd of more than a thousand concert goers. In addition, the band performed to sold-out shows at the Budapest Kultiplex and at Sziget Wan2 Stage.
The band's long awaited new album (split with Penalty Kick) was released in the Spring of 2008, once and for all pushing the band out of the underground club scene and earning them the respect and support from fans and critics alike.
